Please see below, our response to the complaint that was made against The Doctor's House Inn and Spa (#12719274): There was a technical problem with our booking mechanism on our website (this is an external system linked to our website) that we were unaware of The price for this room is $(it was showing $100) This was not 'advertised' in any place, such as social media, or on the "specials and packages" page of our website This was posted for several nights only, and had occurred on that room only We were, as stated, unaware of this issue, until we received confirmation of the booking The guest was contacted as soon as the issue was noticed and offered the room at the standard room rate (a savings of $96), and were offered a free cancellation All reservations require a 50% deposit to be confirmed No deposit was taken on this reservation We are happy to cancel their reservation so that they may find alternative accommodations If you have any other questions, please let me know Kind regards, [redacted] Operations Manager

The normal price for this room is $295 (it was showing $100). This was not 'advertised' in any place, such as social media, or on the "specials and packages" page of our website. This was posted for several nights only, and had occurred on that room only. We were, as stated, unaware of this issue, until we received confirmation of the booking.
The guest was contacted as soon as the issue was noticed and offered the room at the standard room rate (a savings of $96), and were offered a free cancellation.
All reservations require a 50% deposit to be confirmed. No deposit was taken on this reservation. We are happy to cancel their reservation so that they may find alternative accommodations.

I am rejecting this response because:I think they should honor the price quoted on their websiteWe will cancel our reservation
