June 3, 2015. The following steps have beentaken on your behalf to investigate this issue: ·        Interviews wereconducted and completed with staff members and managers who participated in theprovision of your care. ·        Several attemptshave been made to contact you without success. A voicemail message was left informing you of the need to speak with youregarding this issue and we have not received any return calls from you.  During another attempt to contact you, wewere unable to leave a voicemail message as the voicemail would not respond tomessages. Additionally, a representative from our Nursing Administration Officeattempted to contact you on three separate occasions, without success.  The results of our investigation and decision are asof July 7, 2015: The hospital maintains a safe for the safekeeping of money,jewelry, wallets or other valuables. All Patient items not placed in thehospital safe remain the responsibility of the individual. We were unable to verifyyour account of the incident. Review: The place was filthy and disgusting. The people were rude. I was there for 2 hours and wasn't seen. They told me to call and get my results and when I did I couldn't get them. Rudest people ever. Won't ever go there again.Desired Settlement: That place needs to be shut down.

Review: Hospital ER staff stole my 13 yr olds personal items when she was in crisis. We requested her items before being transported but we're denied and her stuff is gone. Hospital director refused to replace items stating "her items are not functional, hospital policy states we can't replace it"Desired Settlement: Cost of replacing by using warranty $160, others it's $300 for brand new, which that's not our issue. We just want it replaced. It's the right thing to do.

This letter is in response to your letter, which was forwarded to me for follow-up on April 28, 2015. This letter contained a grievance filed by a patient's mother who made allegations of the theft against our Emergency Department (ED) staff. Specifically, that the "Hospital ER staff stole my 13 yr olds personal items when she was in crisis."Doctors Medical Center's Administration received the same grievance information from the patient's mother through our grievance process on Monday, March 9, 2015. The patient Care Director of Emergency Services completed a medical record review upon notification of the patient's concerns and attempted to get in contact with this mother that evening, but was unsuccessful. Contact was made on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 and her concerns were reviewed and discussed. The patient was transported to our ED by local law enforcement on February 28, 2015. Upon arrival, the patient's belongings were placed and sealed within a "patient belongings bag". The patient's belongings were then transported with the patient to another facility. It was determined through our investigation that all items that arrived with the patient on February 28th remained contained in her personal belongings bag during her stay in our ED and handed off at time of transfer to the ambulance crew.Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to investigate and evaluate our care and services. We always welcome such opportunities to identify any areas in need of improvement. Please contact me for any additional information or concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: According to [redacted]'s hosptial in San francisco, her phone and purse were no with her. At no point did my child have her belongings. And according to the hosptial there was no record of those items in her personal belongs. I still have the bag that her belongings were in.

Review: Collection Issues such as that I shouldn't be in collections.

I never received a bill from Medical Center because they had the wrong address. They sent me to collections without notifying me of any bill that was due. Doctors Medical Center has charities programs set up for clients that don't have insurance to cover the costs. I asked for the county services to help pay the bill but since I'm in collections can't help pay it. Account #[redacted] has a balance due of $57,320.80. This bill is beyond my ability to pay and I thought it would be covered by the county which is a program that helps cover when patient doesn't have medical insurance like myself. I was never offered any sort of charities or programs to help me pay my bill.Desired Settlement: I'd like them to pull me out of collections since they never gave me a bill and to find me charities programs to help cover the cost of the bill since I don't have insurance and I'm low income. I know the hospital has programs to help cover the costs.

Review: I was in your hospital as a patient Jun 3, 2015 on the 4th floor on the new side. Two of your nurses dropped my cell phone on the night of June 3, 2015. My phone was on the left side on the tray/stand next my bed and it was plugged in on the left side. I had the test for my heart and I was sleeping when I woke up I the nurse say I am sorry and I saw where they had dropped my phone . One of the nurses try to get my phone to work. When my daughter got to the hospital the next morning I told her what had happen to my Phone and she tried to get my phone to work and it didn t work. I told the nurse when she came in that morning what had happen with my phone she told me that she was going to tell her charge nurse. They sent in a young lady and she told me that the person that handle this issue was away and she would contact me when she got back. She call me a week later and I told her what was going on , she told me that she was going to look into it and get back with me. I have called fives times and talk to different people and I still haven t heard anything as of today. I have taken my phone to be fixed and it can t be fixed . I need a phone just like I had ASAP.Desired Settlement: I would like to get another cell phone just like I had ASAP. My kids had just got this phone for me for my Birthday. I want another phone ASAP. I think that this is bad when a business don t return yours and don t get you another phone this has almost been a month. Bad business. I liked the hospital and the staff they took real good care of me until the situation with my phone. All of the nurses was very helpful and friendly and willing to help even when my phone wasn t working .Upper managem
