Doctors' Resource Specialists Reviews (4)

I apologize for the confusion on this account We have contacted the patient's insurance and they reviewed the claim and realized that they had processed the claim incorrectly There should not have been any patient responsibility on the claim in question and they have sent the claim back for payment In the future, if the patient feels that there is any discrepancy in how a claim has been handled the patient or the patient's representative, as long as we have a signed power of attorney on file, can question the claim with our claims department or the insurance company directly We are required to have a signed power of attorney on file in order to speak with anyone other than the patient due to HIPAA privacy guidelines Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention Sincerely, Julie S [redacted] VP, Doctors' Resource Specialists

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.it should have never got to this point after many phone calls to doctor and this businessThere is no HIPPA violation in calling and asking them to recode and rebill to correct a problem I found in the recordsWhen there is not information exchanging just a problem correction there is not a need for POA as it can be viewed at facility which will avoid sending a senior to collections for $16.16.
