Review: Document Busters has copies of my medical records for University Services Sleep Centers which has gone out of business. I needed to obtain those records to take to a new doctor/sleep center for my 2/23/15 appointment. On 1/13/15 I emailed them a release form to request copies of all of these records. By 1/20/2015 I received a bill for those records, which I paid promptly. However, when I received the records on 1/30/15 which they mailed to me, the set was incomplete. Records sent were dated through March 2012, but I did not receive the records from November/December 2012 nor those from the following autumn in 2013.

I emailed Document Busters on 1/31/15 and again on 2/6/15 (with copy of the release form again attached) asking for the rest of my documents and also requested a response to my email so I would be fully informed of my request. As of 2/11/15 I have heard nothing, either by email or US mail. Thus I have a problem with both non-delivery of my requested forms and with a lack of reply from the company. While it is feasible that the Sleep Center might not have included that paperwork with what Document Busters now holds, their lack of response tells me nothing. Noting that their original mailed response came 7 days after my initial emailed form and that a longer period than that has now passed since my request for the rest of my paperwork and a response from them, I am sitting here with only a few days to go to received my paperwork.Desired Settlement: Ideally I want delivery of the rest of my records before my appointment on 2/23/15...within the 30 day period described on their release form. If additional payment is needed, of course I am willing to do so, but this would have to be with the understanding that the 2/23/15 deadline is met.

No matter what, a thorough, an honest explanation is needed as to why I did not receive all of my medical records requested and why they have been negligent in responding up until this point in time.an

We informed Mr [redacted] on 2 occassions that we sent all of the files that we had in our posession. We also told him that we contacted the physicians office to find out if there were any other files they have not given us.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I do want to mention they only contacted me after my third email about this which included my statement that I'd be getting in touch with the Revdex.com. Also, they only contacted me once, not twice. Interesting that they said they contacted the physicians office about my missing records as the company is out of business--not sure how they could have contacted them.That said, I really do believe that they were not provided with the records that are missing, and I am satisfied with the resolution.
