Review: I purchased my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee [brand new] on Saturday, May 23, 2015. I contacted the dealer on Monday [since they were closing when I left the dealership] to inform them of a noise which sounded like a problem with the rotors. The technician confirmed my suspicion after a road test on Monday, May 25th. When I picked up my vehicle later that day, I was informed that they had to shave the rotors. There justification was that it probably developed rust from being outside. When I stated to the salesperson and manager that I was upset that this would happen with a new vehicle, they dismissed me stating that this is common, the rotors are steel.

I contacted Jeep assistance on May 26th. They informed me that I would be provided free oil changes for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I was already receiving free oil changes based on my sales agreement.

On August 11, 12 and 19, 2015, I brought my vehicle back to Dodge Chrysler Jeep City for the engine light staying on. The first date the service department explained that they ran diagnostics and reset the computer. I was not provided a loaner car or rental and had to find transportation to and from work. The second date, I was informed by the service department that they reprogrammed the computer and replaced a par with the evaporator system. Again, I was not provided a loaner car or rental and had to find transportation to and from work. The third date, I was the service department apologized for the inconvenience, then stated that there was a cracked hose in the evaporation system and they had to replace a canister, which finally fixed the problem. Although I was provided a car rental, I had to pay an additional $10.95 per day [3 days], which has not been reimbursed.

I have contacted Jeep assistance and was offered one [1] months payment for the inconvenience. I rejected the offer, stating that I was sold a "Brand New" vehicle, which clearly had problems from the time it left the factory.Desired Settlement: I submitted a complaint with The National Center for Dispute Settlement, requesting reimbursement for the rental fees and that the vehicle either be repurchased or discounted. They responded with correspondence on November 4, 2015, which stated, "We have reached a unanimous conclusion because the Customer failed to prove the existence of a manufacturing defect which rises to the level that substantially impairs the use, value or safety of the vehicle". Fort this reason my request for repurchase was denied. However, they made no mention of my request to discount the vehicle or refund for the 3-day rental. To no avail, I spoke with a manager Friday, November 13th, with the hope of getting them to stand by their product by reducing the original cost of the vehicle, due to the issues I had experienced. He stated there was nothing he could do. I'm requesting a 10% refund of the original purchase price of the vehicle, since it was sold with defects that existed from the factory.

Review: On May 1st I traveled from New York to buy a car from Dodge Chrysler Jeep City, also known as [redacted] in Burlington, New Jersey. The salesman [redacted] was very helpful in faxing the appropriate paperwork to me because I lived far. When I got there the car was cleaned and paperwork was ready to be signed. I was very happy with my purchase until my temporary plates expired on May 20th. A week before my temp plates were to expire, I called [redacted] to see the status on my plates. He states I need a federation code from my bank to continue the process; within minutes I faxed it to them. My plates expired and I called again, now they needed a copy of my license for the [redacted], I faxed a copy to them. It is now June 18th and I have not received my plates. Faithfully twice a week I called the General Managers [redacted] and [redacted] to discuss my plates in which they kept stating they would have it within next week and it's not their fault, it's [redacted]. Today, June 18th I went to my nearby [redacted] to see if the car was registered, they stated it wasn't in the system. The [redacted] gave me the Albany headquarters number which I immediately called. The rep in Records and Registration stated they have no knowledge or paperwork in the system meaning no paperwork or title was given to [redacted] to be processed. Therefore [redacted] has been LYING to me about handing everything over. They denied overnighting me extended temporary plates because they stated it was illegal, YET the [redacted] said it wasn't. If that wasn't enough, my mechanic discovered the car had been in a accident and been painted over. I've made 2 car payments, and got pulled over before for a car I cannot drive. I guess it's because I'm a female and did majority of the talking and paperwork over the phone, however this is NOT how one should CONDUCT business nor is it RIGHT to scam people. [redacted] is not doing anything to help me while my plates come or assist me with this problem. Therefore, this problem is resulting in legal matterDesired Settlement: I want a ANSWER to this problem, extended plates for the duration of my arriving plates or a full refund of my vehicle
