Revdex.com spoke to the owner of the business who said that one of his experienced employees who is very knowledgable about the business had been out to show the customer samples, and the samples allow the customer to place the sample over the glass to see how it would lookHe stated the customer picked the tint he wanted for the level of sun protection he wanted, and there were no problems with the installation or quality of the workThe owner said when the customer reached out to complain about the tint, it was explained to him that the level of coverage he received was picked by him, and if it wasn't dark enough for his liking, he could increase the level of the tint, but would have to pay to do so, because what he had selected had been installed to his specificationsAny removal of the tint would be an additional labor fee to take it down, and while it's unfortunate the customer is not happy with the product he chose, there is no issue with the product itself and no refund will be issued

In response to my complaint be advised that I took a temperature reading on the kitchen window sill of the windows treated with film DN35 from Johnson Window Film. Next to that set of windows is two windows in our master bedroom that do not have any window film on them. The windows face south and both sets of windows (kitchen and bedroom) had the same temperature of 92 degrees farenhight  on a sunny day. The Solar Specification sheet DN35 from Johnson Window Film, given to me by Jody P[redacted] Sales person from Dodson Glass, specifies that there will be a 46% reduction in heat. The temperature readings prove that the heat reduction is not happening. I want the $700.00 that I paid  to be returned. [redacted]

Review: On March 28, 2016 I agreed to the installation of Solar Film on five windows in my kitchen. The solar film they installed is stated to reduce 46% of the heat from the sun. It is definitely not reducing the heat since on a sunny the temperature in that area goes to 97 degrees.

On June 29,2016 I visited their store and spoke to Jody P[redacted] who was the person who came to my home and gave me the estimate for the installation of the Solar film. I told him my problem and he agrees to contact Johnson Window films and find out why this was happening. Mr. P[redacted] have never called me as promised. I faxed two letters to Mr.P[redacted] and Mr. Dodson the last one dated July 19, 2016 I have not received a response to the letters.Desired Settlement: In my letter dated July 19, 2016 I requested that they remove the defective solar film and return to me the $700.00 I paid for the installation.
