D.O.E. Plumbing

My biggest complaint with this company is poor communication. Before the plumbers started the job, they quoted a price of about $125. I received a bill for $191, but I really wasn't too upset at this point. However, about 10 days later I noticed that my drain was backing up again. I was reluctant to call D.O.E. Plumbing again because I could not afford to spend a bunch more money. Yet, I was told by an individual that the same thing happened to her when she used D.O.E., but they came and finished the job at no additional cost since they did not adequately do the job the first time. So I contacted them and explained the situation. At the time, I was lead to believe that they would come back and finish the job at no extra cost. To be fair, they did complete the work and did a great job. The drain hasn't backed up since. However, I received a second bill for $139. Now I am looking at a total of $330 to have some roots pulled from an outside clean-out. Note that the second bill is more than original price quote of $125. This is when I started to get a little bit upset, but I figured if I contacted them we could reasonably sort out the issue. Thus, I contacted them twice and explained the situation. The individual stated that he would have someone call me back. Both times, there was NEVER a single attempt to call me back. Since then, I have called two more times. There was not an answer so I left messages emphasizing the importance to return my phone call. I still have never received a phone call from anyone. Now I am really frustrated and upset. Their lack of and inaccurate communication have turned a minor issue into a much bigger problem. If they were courteous enough to contact me, I would be more than willing to listen to their proposal for a fair solution.
