damage. We charged him a minimal charge which we did for 14 other inspections which no one other than [redacted] complained about. Our fee was minimal and would have been deducted had there been damage and Doerr Siding had repaired the damage. We are returning the check with a request to [redacted] to not contact Doerr Siding with any further requests inspections or estimates.::

I understand that you no longer want me as a customer and that [redacted] not be a problem. I [redacted] look for the return check in the mail with your letter. I tried to call you to talk this over but could not get you to return my call. This is not the way I like to settle matters, but had no choice but to contact the Revdex.com. I would ask that you consider letting your customers know first about the cost associated with your inspections. That amount of $95.00 that you charged is a lot of money to some people and they don't consider it a minimal charge. Also, thank you so much Revdex.com for taking the time to resolve this matter! I do appreciate it!

Revdex.com spoke with the consumer today and confirmed the refund check has been received and cleared. Case has been resolved.
I am rejecting this response because:
Yes It has been several years since the installation. However I do not feel that Doerr Siding did enough to satisfy the warranty from the beginning, approximately 2 years from purchase. They were not diligent enough with the manufacturer letting them slide with excuses and Steve did not follow up as he should. Furthermore Steve Doerr's word in no good since he wrote a letter stating he would cover the warranty if the manufacturer did not. I would not give Doerr Siding any more business nor recommend them for the smallest project.
This is in response to [redacted] complaint. This issue has been ongoing for several years. We have attempted to rectify the situation twice. Both times we attempted to fix the situation, the manufacturer failed to send the appropriate parts for the repair. We have paid for shipping...
and parts and labor (which is not under warranty) out of our pocket that they would not cover. Our last communication with them 2 years ago resulted in their admission of faulty paint finish on product but because of the age of the job, they would not fix this. Due to the age of the job and the fact that we no longer affiliated with the manufacturer, we are getting no assistance from them whatsoever. We do want to make this right but unfortunately nothing will be done to fix this issue until spring. On our last communication with them, they stated the only fix was to paint the windows and the main frame. The homeowner was not pleased with that option. We feel that the only solution is to have the windows and parts of the main frame professionally painted. We do not feel this cost should be incurred by Doerr Siding. This is a manufacturer warranty issue. Respectfully Steve Doerr
