I initially called the Dog Works Inc. to see if they would allow me to adopt a dog without raising the height of my fence, seeing that I would be outside in my yard with my dog at all times, the dog would not jump the fence. The owner of this organization was very rude and unprofessional. She quickly got on the phone without exchanging pleasantries, after I spoke on the voicemail for 20 seconds and began to call me a liar, regarding how I would care for one of the dogs. She cursed at me several times, talked over me--not allowing me to speak, and hung the phone up on me twice. Prior to hanging up on me, she stated that she was the owner and that she had the power to never allow me to adopt a dog from her organization.
