As before, I am submitting a truthful account of our experiences with this consumerMyself and two of my employees interacted with Mr***The three of us remember him and the events wellI will not insult Mr***s memory - I will simply point out the important facts of this case
again. Our technician sat in the drivers seat to pull the vehicle into our shopThe seat was previously broken, poorly repaired and in need of replacement years agoWe did not work on the seat or in any area of the seatMr*** did not warn us that we could not sit in the broken drivers seatWe did not further damage the already damaged seat. Mr*** stated, after the vehicle was ready, that he knew the cost to replace the part since he'd already shopped for oneMr*** charged back on his credit card $of his purchase with us. Those repairs had nothing to do with his seat issueMr*** lost the chargeback complaint and his credit card company has made him pay back to us the total invoice. Mr*** has now lowered his demand (for us to pay for the part that has been damaged for over years) to $109.68. I have been in business for a very long time and I always take great care of my customersIf I believed that we damaged the vehicle I would gladly take care of itHowever, we did not damage the vehicle. I am rejecting this response because the company failed to repair or replace the part they admit they broke. I've done business there for over 13 years, but will not return.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have been contacted by the contractor, and verified that they did come out to the property to assess the repair. I wish to extend my apology to Mr. [redacted] for this step being necessary. The operations manager stopped responding on the issue, and after six months I wasn't sure how else to proceed. I appreciate Mr. [redacted]'s attention to this situation and will look forward to the repair being completed.
