Dogwood Glen Management and Staff has been responsive to this resident’s complaints about the heating systemMr [redacted] submitted two service requests stating that unit was constantly running and would not turn offOn both occasions the Maintenance Supervisor responded to his requests and informed Mr [redacted] that the unit was working properly and the unit will continue to run until it reaches the temperature that has been setThe service requests were both reported in late January when the weather was very coldIt is highly possible that due to the cold weather the unit was running more in order to keep the apartment at a warm temperatureThe heating/cooling system in his unit is only years old and If we believed that the system was not running properly the unit would have been replaced immediatelyRegarding the sensor issue, [redacted] was told that the factory sets the sensor in the middle of the coil but if he wanted to have the unit kick on more often he could lower the sensorIf he wanted the unit to kick on less he could raise the sensor These options were only told to him to give him options to make him comfortableSection of the lease agreement states that residents are responsible for their electricityThe electricity is based on the resident’s usage and paid directly to Indianapolis Power & LightDogwood Glen does not believe that we are responsible for paying Mr [redacted] ’s electricity bill and decline to pay this billDogwood Glen strives to provide the best service to all of our valued residentsAlthough Mr [redacted] has had this experience, we hope that the rest of his experience at the community remains positiveTiffaneyF [redacted] Community Manager Dogwood Glen Apartments Woodglen DriveIndianapolis, IndianaP 317-872- | F 317-222- | [email protected]

informed Mr. [redacted] that the unit was working properly and the unit will continue to run until it reaches the temperature that has been set. The service requests were both reported in late January when the weather was very cold. It is highly possible that due to the cold weather the unit was running more in order to keep the apartment at a warm temperature.
