Customer came in for an annual New York State Inspection on July **, She was charged $37, however, her Vehicle failed the Inspection due to " bad rear brake pads" She was told that she can have the brakes repair at our shop or she can take it anywhere else for the repairsShe told us that
she'd be taking the car to her mechanicWe told her that she'd have to pay $re-inspection fee for her safety portion of the inspectionHer husband came later that day and asked us why it failed and we explained him the same thing and he said he'll bring back the car after he gets it repairedOn August *, when the husband brought back the car for re-inspection we asked him to pay $for the re-inspection, ( He didn't pay us $to perform the re-inspection) soon as we said that he started using language with us and said he shouldn't have to pay for the re-inspection because his wife paid already(It' s New York State Law to pay $for inspection pass or fail and a re-inspection fee if the car fails.) We also didn't denied the customer because they never got the job done with us, ( They made that up )Customer kept arguing and threatening us that if we don't perform a free re-inspection he's going to assault us, he's been living in this neighborhood for a long time he will get us killed and just kept goingAfter a while he started asking for a refund for the initial inspection ($37)Which we can't refund because there is no refund on inspectionsSo after we didn't refund him he came to my face and almost hit me and I asked him to calm down and relaxSince he wasn't being cooperative and being violent we called the police to have him leave the property and when the police came he wasn't cooperative with them either instead he was getting more hyperEventually after mins or so he left the property and threatened us that we should wa tch our backAnd they didn't pay $for the re-inspection to another station they only paid $because his wife came back to our shop and told us that they paid only $and she apologized for her husbands behavior
