Dolan Oil Service’s response of February 27, did not actually address the issueFrom their response, I am presuming they are justifying the refund of $1.05/gal their cost rather than the $2.50/gal that I was charged, because they have to cover their three deliveriesThat would equal $for Dolan Oil Services three deliveriesThese deliveries were per their schedule and made by their truck delivering on their established route to reduce their cost. I still believe this an excuse to overcharge rather than a justifiable reason. In addition, they refunded at their cost and will sell the propane again at $2.50/gal which is twice the profit.
After a lot of thought, I have decided to payoff Dolan Oil Services rather than being continually harassed by their endless invoices with cumulative late feesIt is clear to me that a lawyer would have to be utilized in this case and the cost does not justify the returnI also realized that Dolan Oil Services does not have a high ethical standard and my attempt to reason with them is futile. I listed below the reasons I feel Dolan Oil Services do not have high ethical standards
I have been a paying customer of Dolan Oil Services for over yearsIs this the way you treat a customer that has a year history of always paying on time and in-full?
Several years ago Dolan Oil Services maintenance a neighbors furnaceThat night the entire house filled with soot covering all of the homes contentsWhen contacted, Dolan Oil Services denied any responsibility. The homeowners insurance paid to have everything cleaned and said they will handle this with Dolan Oil Services
Approximately two years later the exact same event occurred at a different neighbor’s homeDolan Oil Services again denied responsibilityAnd again the homeowners insurance paid to have everything cleaned and said they will handle with Dolan Oil Services
When *** disconnected Dolan Oil Services propane tanks and connected their tanks they found the regulator supplied by Dolan Oil Services was undersized*** replaced the regulator with a larger unit at no cost to me
As previously stated, after much thought, I realized Dolan Oil Services would not change, and keep denying any claim of mine
So, I paid off Dolan Services, via check mailed today
In closing, I can only say the $have bought me peace of mind and terminated a poor business relationship

February 27, 2015To whom it may concern, As I explained to our client, the remaining 168 gallons of propane that was left in the tank was from 3 seperate deliveries. I have to make a certain profit on each delivery. If I would have given him a full refund for the propane, I would have...

lost money on at least 2 of those deliveries. If all of the gas would have been from the last delivery only than the refund would have been different. The $1.05 per gallon refund I offered the client was the fair marketcost of propane at that time. Thank you.Sincerely,Douglas D.President
