I have a scheduled appt. for tire rotation @ 11 am on Nov. 12,2014. I checked in @ 10:55, [redacted] took care of me. At 12:15, went to him, if the car is ready. He is on the phone and [redacted] pull out the paper work and do the computer thing and give it back to [redacted]. [redacted] told me that the tire rotation is done and rear brakes needs to be done next time but not a rush. I went to my car and check it they did the job, but unfortunately they didn't. I put a marker on the tires before I bring it in. I went back to [redacted] and told him about this matter, and left the car so he will take care of it. Around 3:15, he called and left a voicemail that my car is ready and he wants to drop it off. 2nd call is at4:27 pm, he left my keys at the receptionist and there is no ride to be provided coz they stop at 5pm and close at 6 pm.He also said that they did not rotate the tire( I saved the voicemails). When I picked up my keys I have to look for myself to find my car. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. They cheat/ lied to me thinking they did there job the 1st time when I'm getting my car and when I showed them the marker they said something else. This is really a poor customer service.Desired SettlementI want the settlement for the company to replace the tires for a brand new ones, for not doing there job right and cheating on me. I don't know if I can still trust this company to do repairs, maintenance and warranty. I was really really upset about this matter.Business Response Customer and Dolan Toyota came to a mutual agreement without the need for the Revdex.com. Thank you and have a great day!

I was sold a prepaid maintenance and warranty I didn't want. They said I would have the money back 6 weeks ago but I have yet to see it. I told the sales and finance department at Reno Dolan Toyota I didn't want the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance but they charged me it anyway. When I sent the request to cancel July 17th they said no problem and they will get right on it. Now it is lost and they cant find it and they faxed me another when they said I would have the refund credit back $4285 for the unwanted offers. It has been about 6 weeks now and I have yet to be reimbursed for it, today is August 26th. I was told a week ago when I called and found out they "lost" the cancellation request that they would get on it and it found take a few days. Unfortunately that was a week ago. Still not getting any answers or dates, why cant they reimburse my loan or me personally immediately? I am paying interest on that stuff right now that I don't want. My salesman was [redacted] and [redacted] and the finance manager handling the loan and stuff was [redacted] (Revdex.com said to include) and it was on a 2013 Jeep Rubicon purchased July 9, 2104. This experience is becoming quite stressful for me.Desired SettlementMy $4285 from unwanted warranty and maintenance options they owe me ASAP!Business Response 'Description: "I was sold a prepaid maintenance and warranty I didn't want. They said I would have the money back 6 weeks ago but I have yet to see it. I told the sales and finance department at Reno Dolan Toyota I didn't want the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance but they charged me it anyway."If you did not want either of these, why did you sign the paperwork that you did want them? We did not charge you unwillingy. You signed both documents for the warranty and the maintenance. Our finance department covers all of this in great detail while going over your paperwork. It was only after the fact you decided that you did not want them. Which we granted a full refund and are in the process of reimbursing your bank. Not you.Your warranty has been cancelled for the full amount and a check was mailed to [redacted]e on the 22nd of August. Your Maintence cancellation was submitted to Toyota the same day (August 22nd). As soon as we have confirmation that it is complete we will post to [redacted]e as well. You do not receive these moneies directly because you took a loan out on the Jeep you purchased. [redacted]e was your finance company and they will receive the money from the cancellations.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)It was tucked in section 11a and 11b and in the 20 plus pieces of paper I signed I didn't see it. The better response would be why was iit lost and taking over six weeks and I still don't have a date on the prepaid maintenance. All I got over the phone since filing the complaint was sorry you have been paying interest on 4285 for 6 weeks so far and sorry the original cancelation had been lost. Not looking for an apology just for it to get done! I have been stringed along long enough. Final Business Response All check and remibursment money has been sent to capital one auto finance. [redacted] tracking showed the package delivered yesterday at 10:56 am. Reference number [redacted]. Please keep in contact with [redacted] CRM at[redacted].Thank you.

on 7/8/14, I took my 1989 Toyota to the reno Toyota service department because my car did not pass smog last year, and it was running rich. I called Reno Toyota first to see what if would cost to perform a diagnostic. The receptionist that day said it was 39.95 I brought the car down and wound up talking to [redacted]. [redacted] also said it would be 39.95 It was also agreed that if, and only if, they fixed the car, they would peform a smog check on it. [redacted] gave me an estimate of 165.00 When I asked how the price got so high [redacted] said it was because of the smog check. My mistake here was not checking the math. If I had, I would have realized that 39.95 and 40.00 dollars don't add up to 129.00 Also, the lines were not itemized."[redacted]" [redacted] called me and told me what would be involved to fix everything. Most of the things I was not concerned about at that time. I was only concerned about the rich fuel mixture. later on, when I called down there to double check on the price, I was told it would be 129. dollars. I protested, and said I wanted to talk to [redacted], I wound up talking to [redacted], who I believe did the worst job I have ever heard desperately trying to tap dance his way around this issue. All he could do was argue that it had come in under the estimate, he also admitted that the smog check had not been done. But here's what really concerns me. On 7-9, when I talked to [redacted] about the condition of the car, [redacted] talked about all the oil that was just spilling out of the car. There were pools of oil that had to be cleaned up. You would think I had brought the [redacted] down there. There is a problem with this story. just the day before I had taken my car to [redacted] muffler. **. [redacted] and I both walked underneath the car. Now the car does leak a little bit of oil, but nothing at all like [redacted] was talking about. So, after 25 years of driving this car, I take it to Reno Toyota, where it suddenly develops a massive oil spill. I find this to be very suspicious.Product_Or_Service: diagnosticDesired SettlementProve to me that the car does not leak any more than it did before I brought it in there. If they sabotaged the car thinking I would buy another Toyota, they need to think again. Adjust the total price to 39.95. That's what we verbally agreed on. Business Response Customer and dolan toyota came to mutual agreement without the assistance of Revdex.com. Thank you.

My problems with this dealership began when I brought my 2010 Tundra in for an alignment and general servicing back in February. They performed the alignment, did the scheduled maintenance for 60,000 miles and inspected the vehicle. I was told when I picked up the truck that it had a small oil leak around the dipstick that wasn't a big deal and would be an inexpensive fix that could be done later. While driving home from the dealership my check engine light came on. I checked the codes and was given the code for a small evap leak of the emission system and thought that I'd bring it back to Dolan to get it checked out. I couldn't get back down to Reno until April and by that time the alignment had started to drift. I scheduled an appointment on 4/16/2016 for diagnostics on the CEL and alignment. I was told that the driver side subframe tab for setting the alignment had been damaged, the carbon canister for the emission system had gotten water in it and would need to be replaced and the previously diagnosed minor engine oil leak was actually a major leak and could compromise the life of the truck's V8 engine with potential catastrophic failure. They quoted me about $2,000 dollars for the work and said they would set me up with a rental car for a week. They told me that the truck's warrantee had expired and I would have to pay for the work. While driving home I made some phone calls to 2 Toyota mechanics I know and to the dealership where I bought the Tundra. It turns out that the emission system work is covered under warrantee and the diagnosis of the CEL had probably been made based upon codes only and it was likely that the carbon canister was not even the problem. I turned around and brought back the rental and asked [redacted], the Toyota maintenance associate I was working with, about the warrantee. He wouldn't answer me - instead he had someone get my truck. When I asked for the final estimate of costs for the work to be done, he flat out refused to give it to me.So the following week I get a call from the maintenance manager, who had heard about my situation, asking me to give them a second chance. He told me that if I returned he would make things right by taking care of the engine oil leak under the warrantee and fix my alignment. In the meantime I had cleared the codes for the check engine light and bought a new gas cap. After 100 miles and a dozen or so starts the CEL had not turned back on.I return to Dolan and am told that the emission system is fine. They agree to repair the seals causing the oil leak. BUT the alignment problem would involve replacing the subframe, requiring a body shop and cost of $4,100. I am told by [redacted] that the damage could only have been done by a mechanic applying too much force while adjusting the alignment. I ask about the alignment work done at Dolan Toyota 2 months ago back in February. I had been to no other shop and nobody had touched my truck between when I had the alignment work done in February and when I returned on 4/16. He denies the damage had been done there and recommends that I make a fraudulent insurance claim so the work can be paid for by my insurance company. I then make calls to the service manager who refuses to talk to me or return my messages. I make a formal complaint to Toyota USA who does nothing but forward my complaint to the dealership.Desired SettlementRepair to frame damage caused by Dolan Toyota to be repaired by another mechanic and/or body shop of my choosing, fully paid for by Dolan Toyota.Business Response According to our records [redacted] visited our service department on February 15, 2016; requesting and received and alignment for his 2010 Toyota Tundra. [redacted] returned to our service department on April 15, 2016(approximately 3,400 miles later) requesting another alignment. [redacted] stated that he had ran over a piece of wood on the highway. Upon inspection our technician found that the tabs for the eccentric bolts were bent and would need to be fixed before a proper alignment could be done on the Tundra. We then quoted [redacted] approximately $4,100.00 for the new tabs and second alignment. The alignment could not be done without the tabs being replaced first which we told the customer. Being that the vehicle was aligned and then driven for an approximate 3,400 miles before [redacted]'s request for a second alignment we do not believe that the damage to the tabs on his truck was done here at Dolan Toyota. Additionally, when requesting the second alignment [redacted] said that he had ran over a piece of wood on the highway before he visited our service department for the second alignment. Due to the time and mileage that accrued during his first visit on February 15, 2016 and April 15, 2016 we are confident that the damage did not happen on our watch. Update: The response from Dolan Toyota-Scion is unequivocally unacceptable. It does not attempt to address the issue brought to the Revdex.com. In addition, whoever wrote the response does not even understand the problem is with the ACCentric (not ECCentric) bolt. We will never return to this dealership and advise anyone considering them to save themselves a lot of time, aggravation, and money, and take their business elsewhere.Final Business Response Hello [redacted],We apologize that this has been so frustrating; however, we do not believe that Dolan Toyota-Scion is at fault in this situation. The documents show that a piece of wood was ran over as well as many miles driven before the truck was brought in again for another alignment. We realize that we are unable to come to an agreement and therefore see why you would opt to take your business elsewhere.

I am going to explain with more detail than I normally would to justify why I did what I did and to show how cruelly I have been treated. I purchased a used 2008 Rav4 from Dolan Toyota due to my Husband passing away a few months prior. knowing I would now have to drive myself on winter roads. He had been the one who I leaned on regarding vehicles and what was reasonable. Dolan Toyota sales staff convinced me I couldn't be out any money by purchasing their Certified Platinum Vehicle Service Agreement because it came with a money back rebate if I did not use it. I did everything they told me to do. To make sure I received the money back at the end of the period I did everything I was told to do. When I called to get the money back, I have never been treated so badly in my life and I am no longer a young person so that is saying a lot. I have experience bad customer service before but nothing like this. I also have to say this is the first time I have ever filed a Revdex.com complaint about a business. I first called and received the run around for 2 days of calling. I finally spoke to someone (can provide the name have the e-mail saved) in one of their service agreement offices who initially told me I could cancel and get the refund with her, but later to hear back from her telling me I could not cancel the agreement with her and had to deal with a different office. I got the information for the correct office called and was treated very rudely by [redacted] their service manager. [redacted] laughed in my face saying I could not get the refund the company that backed the agreement went under. I explained I did everything his sales staff instructed me to do and counted on Toyota to do the right thing. He in not so many words told me I was stupid for listening to a sales person. The contact I am looking at has Toyota Finance name all over it, but that does not seam to count of anything. I spoke to the Toyota district office who told me there were a few dealers who did have this problem most of who still honored the money back guarantee. They were appalled when I mentioned how I was being treated. They do have this documented with them. They apologized profusely but of course that does not put the money back in my pocket. I also had spoken with one of the Dolans who has a flipped attitude that this is not his problem and to talk to his attorney. I asked [redacted] whose pocket the money I paid out of the $1500.00 went into, he wouldn't answer the question until I had asked the fifth time and finally said theirs. I don't understand how a company can misrepresent a product to the extent the Dolans had then to say talk to my attorney that is amazing bad customers service practice. As a different Toyota dealer I spoke with said amazingly there are just some dealers that are keeping that bad reputation out there. All they are about is their bank accounts and no one else. One last comment the Dolan Toyota rep [redacted] tried to tell me this was a nation wide problem and lots of people were in the same boat both the Toyota District office and Toyota Dealer in Boise Idaho stated this couldn't be further from the truth.Product_Or_Service: 1500.00Order_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementRefund or comp must be across state boarder I may take legal action against this dealerBusiness Response "Performance under this agreement is the sole responsibility of SFG (Signet Financial Group) and is not to be construed as an obligation of the dealer. "Dolan Toyota has extended a offer to [redacted] for a credit in our parts and service department for her vehicle which she declined. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I conditionally accept the response from this business only if they are willing to ship the credit in parts they offered I have a feeling they will not. I also want to know how I will receive the credit. The parts would need to be for a 2015 Rav 4 for 1500.00. The agreement was made with Toyota finance backed by SFG who was a questionable pick for the financial backing because of their rating. Each dealer picks the company to back the agreement as it was explained to me by the Toyota finance company. The fact that they went under should not have been a surprise by this dealer. The response from Toyota that I was offered a credit for parts and service is a lie that never happened. This is the very first I heard of that. I was told if and only if I lived in Reno maybe they could do something but nothing became of that other than that comment. I would take a credit in parts which they could ship to me or the Toyota dealer here in [redacted]. The Toyota dealership in [redacted] has been amazing I would recommend them to everyone. I thought I would never do business with Toyota again after the experience I had with Dolan but boy I am glad I went to [redacted] Toyota in [redacted]. I purchased a new Toyota Rav4 from [redacted] Toyota and have been treated fabulously by them. Final Business Response Dolan Toyota will be happy to pay for any parts, service, or accessories for [redacted], to the equivalency of $1500.00 dollars. This is good at any Toyota dealer in the continental United States. Please simply have your contact at the dealer send us a invoice and we will pay the bill. On one request that [redacted] removes all negative reviews posted on our other business channels and social media, ie: Facebook, Yelp, and Google. We are not asking her to remove the Toyota reviews, just the businesses she has not done business. (Lexus, Mazda-Kia) Thank you.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I am saying yes with the understanding this dealer lives up to what they have stated. I have removed my negative postings. I truly hope they do what they state they will. They to date have made me very cautions because of prior experiences with them. I am trusting they keep this arrangement and agreement. [redacted] Toyota in [redacted] is very aware of this and will work with me. They are also counting on Dolan Toyota to live up to this arrangement and will be in contact with them shortly.Thank you,[redacted]

I took my 2006 Toyota Tacoma to Dolan Toyota of Reno for service on July 12th at 11:15 am. My drivers side exterior door handle had stopped functioning. I was charged $125.00 to diagnosis the problem. They informed, verbally, and in writing, that It needed an additional $528.32 in parts and labor to fix. Over $360.00 of that cost was parts. I informed them That I was sure it had just come disconnected. They insisted it that was not the case, and I needed a a $653.32 plus tax repair. The next morning I took the same truck to [redacted]. They informed me my handle had just come disconnected and there were no parts necessary for the repair. Tanager Auto fixed my door handle in less then 1 hour for $84.45 plus tax. I have everything documentedDesired SettlementI would like my $125.00 refunded. Business Response Dolan Toyota and customer came to mutual agreement without assistance of Revdex.com thank you.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I was refunded my entire bill from Toyota, not just the $125.00 that was owed. While I I feel my experience was unethical, and even illegal, the new manager of the service department ensured me he will be making sure no one in the future is being taken advantage of. I hope this is the truth

I purchased a 2008 Toyota Solara Convertable on MLK weekend in January 2014. Their advertisements on websites were false however that is not the principle complaint. My complaint is that when I signed off all the documents to drive away with this car, a worker from the service dept came into our meeting and stated that they could not get the [redacted] Multimedia AV Navigation Receiver stereo system to turn on. He stated that this may have happened by simply disconnecting the car battery so it needed to be sent into the manufacturer to reprogram it. So they gave me 2 choices. Choice 1 was that they could go to a local stereo shop and replace it with a very basic stereo or choice 2 was they would ship it out to the manufacturer to get it reprogrammed and then mail it out to me. I took choice 2 since the pioneer system was a high end system. Now 2 months have passed and I have left voicemails and sent emails and no one will respond back to me. At this point, I don't know what to do since I live in ** and they know that too.Product_Or_Service: 2008 Toyota Solara ConvertableDesired SettlementIf for some unknown reason they cannot fix that pioneer receiver, then they need to replace it with another comparable pioneer receiver. Toyota's replacement receiver sells for approximately $1,800.00. Business Response Stereo unit was taken out of vehicle and sent to [redacted] to be repaired. The unit has been repaired and sitting at [redacted] awaiting further instructions from Reno Toyota. Reno Toyota instructed [redacted] to send unit back. There was a mis-communication between service and [redacted] and the unit was never sent back. We contacted [redacted] today and they apologized and said they would send back unit immediately. Reno Toyota expects unit to arrive within 5-7 business days. Upon arrival we will contact customer and arrange stereo to be installed or sent to customer for installation. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Here we are today March 27 and I have not been contacted by Reno Toyota. I was told by the service manager that once the unit was returned, they would contact me and arrange for the unit to be installed by the local [redacted] Toyota here in **. If there is an installation charge, I expect Reno Toyota to take care of that directly with [redacted] Toyota. If the unit, [redacted] Multimedia AV Navigtio Receiver, is installed but not working properly, I expect Reno Toyota to be fully financially responsible for either a comparable replacement unit or the original factory toyota unit to be installed.Final Business Response [redacted] unit was received by Dolan Toyota on 03/24/2014. Shipped Via [redacted] to customer on 03/25/2014 Tracking number [redacted]. [redacted] shows that unit was delivered to front door of [redacted]. [redacted]at 12:22 p.m. Awaiting confirmation the customer has received unit to schedule appointment for installation.

We purchased a certified 2011 Toyota Camry from Reno Toyota in 2012. Prior to the sell I asked the representative if the vehicle was ever in an accident and I was told no. A [redacted] report aslso confirmed that. I also asked if the vehicle had new tires placed on it. I was told yes. Recently, we have had several issues with the vehicle. First the transmission was replaced, under warranty and then various other issues arose such as squeeks and rattles. Someime ago I noticed the reag fender coming loose. I took the vehicle to [redacted] Toyota and they advsied it has been replaced before by Reno Toyota and that they would not replace it because they did not certify it. I also noticed that the rear tires were bald. [redacted] Toyota checked to make sure there was nothing wrong with the allignment or balancing. There was not. So with 15k miles the rear tires ar now bald. I was alos advsied that the rear drivers side door had been replaced as it had a Toyota red sticker which indicated it is not an original part. I was then told about the repaired top portion of the vehicle and you could see the orange peel effect from it. I was never told about this vehicle being involved in an accident.I have sent several emails to Reno Toyota and have not received any response back.Product_Or_Service: Toyota Order_Number: NoneAccount_Number: VIN # [redacted]Desired SettlementWould like to trade the vehicle for another vehicle without a substantial loss.Business Response COO and GM of Reno Toyota has been dealing with [redacted]. We have offered [redacted] a variety of solutions but he is currently not agreeable to a solution.
