I purchased a home with [redacted] in Fort McMurray This company has since dissolved and has passed on ownership to Dolce Vita homes The process has been less than ideal and we are left in the dark regarding questions we have for weeks + at a time I follow up constantly with little responses in return We have a list of things that were promised or that need to be fixed and we have been waiting since August Just a glimpse into our list : windows need to be replaced, missing screens, cupboard doors put on backwards, dented appliances, insulation installed improperly, cupboard doors and laminate scratched, concrete pad chipped and too low for grading and the list goes on I try to be patient and work with the company but how can you work with someone when you don't get a responseI am writing this so that hopefully someone steps up to help remediate the problem so I can live in my house the way it was intended to The process has left a sour taste in my mouth and I am tired of fighting for what we rightfully deserve

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2014/05/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
1) As far as flooring concerns, we have now contacted ANHW as we have been told by of Dolce Vitas own workers that the problem does in fact fall within the guide lines of said warranty
2) We still have spots that squeak continuously when stepped on and make "repetitive noise"
3)The trade you sent out on May had no idea what he was here for, and has made arrangements to come look at the issue now that he knows what the problem is***
4) "Condensation was identified" The builder stated that this was the case even though a roofer was not there to confirm, the roofer is coming back out to look at it again, againAs there is still concern for water build up inside the dormer
5) Final Grade, the developer had ample time previous season to get final grade in***

On 08/**/2014 [redacted] came into Puppy Paws and Purchased a Bull terrier. Accompanying him was his Boyfriend. They couldnt take the dog right away so they left a $100 deposit. We explained that we can't hold the dog for 7 days without having a bigger deposit on the dog. Hence, **...

[redacted] came back on 08/**/14 to give us a bigger deposit of $480 more. We explained to [redacted] that the deposit is not refundable and that it clearly says it in large font that, "DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDABLE."[redacted] came into the store on the date of the pick up which was 08/**/2014 and told me that he was having problems with his boyfriend and that, "They broke up." He explained to me that because of his break-up he couldn't take the dog and asked about getting his Deposit refunded. I explained to [redacted] that Deposits are not refundable. We held this puppy for 7 days and didn't sell it or show it to anyone. It wasn't fare for us to give [redacted] his despot back because we held the puppy for 7 days and didn't sell it. In [redacted] complaint it states that he was having, "Financial Issues." Nevertheless, it was a different story when he came into the store on 08/**/2014. The reason for [redacted] not full fling his purchase was his personal problems with his Boyfriend. We feel that its not fair for a puppy to sit in the store for 7 days and not get picked up. Hence this was our policy that deposits are not refundable, and it clearly states that in our showroom.

On 8/**/2014 me and my ex boyfriend went into puppy paws and we saw a bull terrier that we wanted so being that we did not have the full amount of money for the dog we spoke to a store associate names [redacted] about holding the dog for us and we would come back in week and pick up the dog and pay for him when we had the full amount of money to pay for the dog. me and my ex boyfriend asked [redacted] if there was anyway he can hold the dog for us and he stated yes but you would have to put a $100 deposit so after he informed me of that I left the store and went to get the $100 to give him for the deposit to hold the dog on my behalf. after giving him the deposit he asked me when can you pick up the dog and I stated Friday 8/**/2014 after agreeing on the him holding the dog he also sated to me that if you don't pick up the dog on that day you will be charged $100 for every additional week the dog is here. On 8/**/2014 I dropped by to give them a $480 deposit to minimize the amount owed on the dog witch the total amount on the dog was $979.88 so after now have giving them between the deposit to hold the dog and the additional payment to minimize the full amount owed on the dog the balance left on the dog was now $400. on 8/**/2014 I was assaulted by my ex boyfriend and after he assaulted me he was arrested and I moved back in with my uncle witch where my uncles lives they do not allow dogs in the building. on 8/**/2014 I explained all of that to them and at that point I asked for my money back and they stated there are no refunds on deposits followed by that they showed me a sign that states no refunds that is located behind the cashier desk towards the ground not really visible to the human eye and there where no signs near the cages or around the store that states the only place they had that sign was in the location so at that point I left the store and I went back on 8/**/2014 to ask for a copy of my receipt because I was proceeding with a civil suit and a Revdex.com complaint to get my $580 back. also when I went into puppy paws on 8/**/2014 to get a copy of my receipt I noticed the bull terries was not there and at that point was sold
