Dolce Vita Skin Reviews (%countItem)

Canadian Melissa Grelo advertised new skin care line. Free sample offered all I pay for is shipping.
Aug 31 2018 I ordered what I thought to be a sample of skin care. I was billed 10.90 for "shipping". 5.95 from bttrmuscle.com and 4.95 from bttrskin.com a few weeks later I received the sample. Now Oct 22 2018 I received another sample, I knew at that moment to go to my credit card statement as I knew I didn't order anymore product. I found Sept 14 and Oct 14 a charge for 119.95 Sept 16 and Oct 16 a change for 115.95 totalling 471.80. I called the customer service line 855-217-9504 and to cancel the reoccurring payments, get a return address and a full refund. They refused giving me the address and full refund. Apparently I am getting 153.32 refund in 3-10 business days but that leaves me scammed 318.48.

Desired Outcome

refund me in full 471.80 or remaining funds owed 318.48

This company is a scam. Just as another reader indicated, they did NOT present any terms or conditions for ordering the trial. I was looking for small print or some kind of terms or conditions and there were NONE I always check for this before agreeing and there was NOTHING. I assumed they would after the fact send me info to try to get me to re-order. There was nothing even on what the regular charge for the moisturizer was. I received an email confirming the order for $4.94 and then an email that it was shipped. I was charged the $4.94. I was ALSO CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $73.90 about two weeks later which I overlooked on my charge card until the next month I saw a charge for about $79 and I did not know for what it was. I called the number that was indicated on the charge on my statement. It was a recording. They had my phone number as part of what was entered when I ordered what was advertised as "free" moisturizer. So when I called, it went by my phone number to identify my "account" (which they apparently had opened) and they told me I was enrolled in autoshp/pay and to cancel, press "1". So I pressed "1" and then was TOLD I would be charged a one-time payment of $64 and would no longer be enrolled. WHAT? $64 to CANCEL for something I never authorized in the first place? It THEN said to press 0 to speak to someone, which I tried and I just kept getting a repeat of what was already said. I hung up and called back and was able to speak to someone and they said that I had AGREED to pay the $64 BY USING THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM to CANCEL. Although they said NOTHING about being charged $64 until AFTER (and who charges you to use an automated system?).
When I spoke to them on the phone, they referenced that they had said these things on their website. However, they advertise various places and have links to order and on those advertisements/links, there is NOTHING about any of this and they do not show their website.
I did receive one jar of moisturizer but not any more (and no more emails about shipments being made OR anything --- only for the first one that said NOTHING about it being a trial or anything). Yet, in addition to the $4.94 for that jar, they have charged another $73 another $79 and then a $64 for cancelling. Trying to dispute via my charge card now but because they say it was their terms, apparently even if we are unaware of what there terms are, I likely will not get it all back since I did get one jar of the item. Lesson learned.

To whom it may concern,

We very much appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Upon reviewing this customer's account, we see that the customer
signed up for a 14-day trial offer online 1/12/18. We list the "Terms / Privacy / Contact" at the bottom of every page on our sites, that is where the customer can find the terms and conditions of the offer.

The terms and conditions of the trial offer that the customer signed up for are a 14-day trial offer. After the 14 day period, the customer will be billed for the full price of the product and will receive a new shipment every 30 days unless they notify us of their cancellation request which they can do at any time.

Having stated that, we certaintly strive to make sure our customers are happy. We understand the the customer was not happy about being rebilled and just wants this matter resolved. We have issued a refund for all three charges for the customer ($73.90, $74.93, and $64.31)in the total amount of $213.14. This will go back to the same card that it was charged on. The account has also been cancelled so that no further charges or shipments will be processed.

If there is anything else we can do to more fully resolve this matter, we are happy to do so. Thanks!

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We handle the emails for Dolce Vita Skin care, but not the phone calls. As such, we haven't had any personal contact with the customer, but upon reviewing the account, it appears that the rep who spoke with her was only willing to give a 50% refund while they were on the call. In the notes the agent mentions that the customer wants to file a Revdex.com complaint, so he refunded the remaining $91.93 for a total refund of $183.84.

It appears their call got disconnected and the rep issued the refund during that time and then call the customer back. The customer may have possibly filed this case after the initial conversation in which the rep only filed for a 50% refund.

The full amount of that charge has been refunded and the acct is now closed. If there's any other unresolved issue with this, please have the customer notify us so that we can make sure we take care of it. Thank you!

No stars. They tried to push through a trial offer I did not authorize.

I Thought I completely cancelled my order. I was billed shipping for products never used. Now I have to pay to return it. I was also billed $89.03
I order some skin care products. They tried to add on other products I was not ordering. I immediately called and told them to cancel my entire order. I received two products I was told I get to keep them for just paying the shipping and handling of $4.94 and $4.93.. then when I called to pay my discover card bill I noticed a charge for $89.03. I was given a phone number to call. They said they will remo the charge for $89.03 but I need to pay to return the products at my cost for shipping and handling. I haven't opened or tried the products at all. I do not feel I should be responsible for paying to have them shipped to me and shipped back when I told them to cancel my order. I was given a return merchandise number of *** and have 30 days to return it or be billed more money

Desired Outcome

I should be able to keep the products for the charge of $4.94 and $4.93.I also got billed for an app charge of $2.99. I was told I could keep the products for half off which was a little over $40. This was my understanding of just to pay the shipping and handling to try the products. This company is a scam, lier and theives

To whom it may concern,

We have refunded the full charge of $89.03 on the customer's account and she has now only paid for the S&H for the products that were ordered. We sent her an email explanantion of why she was charged (she was charged in accordance with the T&C that she agreed to at the time of purchase) although that's not to say that our agent couldn't have made an exception on the phone call when she called in. We always want our customers to be happy with their purchase, but our agents are also trained to follow certain refund/return policies. We are happy in cases like this make exceptions even after the billing has gone through if necessary.

We have emailed the customer and let her know her account has been refunded for the full charge and cancelled, so no further charges or shipments will take place. We also confirmed that she does not need to send the products back to us. We are happy to issue any additional S&H refunds to make this right and make sure the customer's end experience is a good one.

Customer stated that she was fine to pay the S&H fees, so unless she wants a refund for those amounts as well, it sounds like we have resolved her issue. Please notify us (or the customer can reach out as well) if there is anything else we can do to make the customer happy. Thanks!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I was ok with being charge the $4.94 and the $4.93 for the shipping and handling. I don't know why I was billed $2.99 for an App. I thought an applicator was being included. They were hard to understand on the phone

This company is a scam. I ordered one order with free shipping and have now received 3 when I did not desire that. BEWARE!!

I signed up for a trail basis. I ordered these products on 12/5/17 they cam to my house 12/12/17. I called to cancel and they charged my credit card.
I ordered a trial basis of 2 skin care products they sent me three items.I ordered it on 12/5/17 and received them on 12/12/17. I called today to cancel or return the items and they said the have charged my credit card $188.00 for 2 times. They said I should have called right away to cancel. Why would I call if I just got them and there wasn't anything saying I needed to call. This is a total rip off and they know it. They refunded me back half of my money. There wasn't anything to say when I should cancel by. My complaint is the deadline to cancel and them charging my credit card $188.00

Desired Outcome

To get the other half refunded back to my credit card. How can a trial basis be done in 10 days ?

After ordering a free trail they are now sending me product without being ordered. There is no way to contact this company by phone or email.
Purchased October 11, 2017
Order Number XXXXXXXXXE
Payment Amount $19.99
Shipping 9.87
While trying to obtain the free trail I could not get out of the web page until I ordered vitamin C serum. After ordering I expected a receipt with all vital information, but there was no address, no phone number, no e-mail, no anything. December 1, 2017 I received a package in the mail with a different company name on it. The package is unopened and I would like to send it back for a refund. This was charged to my boyfriends bank card.

Desired Outcome

I would like to return the product I have just received for a full refund on my boyfriends bank card.

On 10/12/17 I ordered a 30 day TRAIL supply of skin cream and all I had to pay was the price of shipping. A few days later, I received the product in the mail. On 10/28/17 I was charged $89.03 on my bank account. I called the company up to complain and they did cancel my order but refused to give me a refund. They said that just by ordering the trail supply, I agreed to the terms and conditions which states that I have 2 weeks to cancel my order or I'll be charged the full price of the cream. What I'm upset about is the fact that I was never presented with the terms and conditions to read and agree to. All I saw on the website were blanks to fill in your name, address, and credit card information. I never saw any terms and conditions on the website or in the package that it came in. The package only had a label in it with my name and address and a description of what was sent to me. I thought that since it was a 30 day supply, I'd have 30 days to decide if I wanted to buy it or not. If there was terms and conditions on the website, then it was purposely put in a place where people wouldn't notice it or in such small print that you need a microscope to read it! It's a shady way to do business by deceiving people and cheating them out of their hard earned money!
Product_Or_Service: DolceVita skin cream

Desired Outcome

Refund Of course I'd like a refund because I feel like I was purposely misled to believe that I had 30 days to decide to buy it or not. I would also like there to be made changes in the law so businesses like this can't get by with cheating people out of thier money. It would be nice if when the time is up if they contact you and ask you how the product was and if you want to buy it or not. If they have a good product they shouldn't have to trick you into getting your money!
