Dollar Car Rental

I forgot my new jacket in a rental car, and didn't realise it until I got to the airport. So I promptly called Dollar customer service at Arlington airport but they never picked up the phone. I then called the customer service line for lost and found and I was given a ref number of ***, but no one ever contacted me via phone, email or US mail. So, I called them today and they said my jacket was never found which isn't true for they made no attempt to recover my jacket.
