Thanks for passing this message along. I believe there was a bundle issue that listed an ESC with motor in the title, but that the details didn’t mention that the motor was included. (We had this title removed as soon as the issue was discovered.) From what I can remember, the best
option that we could come up with was to ask the customer to return the product for a full refund since we are unable to offer Traxxas items below MAP (we would be happy to, but Traxxas won't allow it and would stop allowing us to sell their products if we violated MAP), and if we were to have sent them out that would have went against MAP policy. The price that the product was listed at was MAP pricing for the EVX-ESC. Also, the price difference he is referencing is the older ‘kitted’ version that was still on the website vsthe retail packaged part. I explained to him that the difference was that the ‘kitted’ version is allowed to be sold at a lower price since it does not come backed by a manufacturer warranty. Due to the title issue, we offered to have the ESC returned to us for a full refund including return shipping. In addition to this, we gave the buyer DH Rewards ($10.00) to their DH Account for the inconvenienceI just pulled up the emails, and the customer ended on the following note: “This has indeed inconvenienced me as I would have purchased the motors at the same time if I'd known I wasn't getting them as expectedNow I have a speed controller and no motors for what will actually be a custom buildIf you look at my purchase history with your site you might note that I'm purchasing parts for different modelsI regularly spend hundreds of dollars monthly in pursuit of my hobby and also own a small fleet of aircraft as well. I knew that the listing was in error, but I've discovered I love to argue. Please credit my account appropriately and I'll consider the matter closed.” And then followed up with, “Although technically your website did have the minimum advertised price, which probably means you could have sent the motorsTechnically...”
