Review: I returned a loan only to be told I could receive another one that was $300 less than what I returned!!! After speaking with a manager I was told it was an error on their part to give me what they had previously given me and there was nothing that could be done about it because I was considered to be a new customer. When I explained that I had given away my whole check to them in hopes of receiving a greater amount I was told there was nothing that could be done about it.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology as well as for the employee to be reprimanded. I should not be penalized because of an employee's mistake. I would also like to be eligible to receive a loan in the amount I was told I would be able to get as a returning customer if needed.

Dear Mr. [redacted]:
1 received the attached complaint and responding per your request.
-Ms. [redacted] secured a loan with us on 8/23/2008 in the amount of $375.00. It was due on 9/19/2008. Ms. [redacted] did not pay the loan. We called and sent letters but she did not respond. Her loan became a debt.
-When a loan becomes a debt we send it to a collections agency. Her debt was sent to our collection agency.
-The collection agency charges a 57% commission on all collections. Ms. [redacted]'s loan was paid
in full in 2011 and we had to pay the collection agency 57% of all payments.
-Ms. [redacted] returned and applied for another loan on 7/11/2013. She was issued a loan for
$550.00. She paid the loan on 7/26/2013.
-Our associate was in error issuing Ms. [redacted] this loan.
-Our policy states the following:
-Debts sent to collections must be paid in full before receiving another loan.
-Debts sent to collections must repay the commission prior to receiving another loan.
-When this occurs one must wait 1-year before processing another loan.
-After 1-year initial loan limit is $200, and increases by $50 each subsequent loan.
-Ms. [redacted] should not have received a loan since she had not repaid the collection agencies fee.
-Ms. [redacted] should not have received a loan greater than $200.
The employee was reprimanded and received a written warning. Ms. [redacted] discussed this with
our manager in our store on 8/1/2013 and left understanding.
