Thrifty Car Rental liesWhen you reserve a vehicle on line it is one price and when you pick it up it is a completely different priceI reserved a vehicle on line and the price for the week was $after all the fees they add it was $I called them and asked what other fees would they charge and they said nothing unless we got the insuranceI called my insurance carrier and all they suggested I get was loss of use insuranceWhen we went to pick up the vehicle I told them I wanted to add the loss of use insurance for $which would put me at $right? Wrong I ended up paying $I had her explain the additional fees which she said was a tax of $on the insurance, which didn't make any sense because that would come up to $At this point I just needed the car because I was leaving town so I paid and signedWhen I got back I called them to explain to me how I ended up paying that muchThe lady was rude and said you signed and agreed to pay it, I said I understand but I want you to explain how it added up to $her explanation was different then the lady we rented from and still didn't add upYou know why it didn't add up? Because they lieDo not what ever you do rent a vehicle from these people not matter how cheap it looks on line when you get down there it ends up being more then double
