I sent Diane two vintage dolls that are between and years old They have been stored in tissue paper for years and needed to be restrung and general cleaning
The Kewpie doll needed restringing and a new set of custom clothes The clothes were outsourced and very professionally done Unfortunately the dolls head is rather wobbly
The Madame Alexander Ballerina was restrung - the legs are not even
The Ballerina's dress has been badly damaged It has been pressed with a too hot iron and is scorched The bodice, after it was in the care of Diane's studio, needed repair and was hand stitched to the skirt in an extremely sloppy and amateurish mannerHer underskirt was also repaired, also unsatisfactorily
In talking to Diane her attitude became one of a defensive nature, she indicated that I had not requested any repair work she stat
