In I had a High velocity Air conditioning system installed to the tune of $13,by Family Heating LivoniaFrom day one the system would not cool my houseThe company came out different times and installed more and more ducting but still the house would not cool downIt was litterally the same temp as outside Finally, after suffering for years I had another company come out and they explained everything that was done wrong Wrong size Return Return Duct was way too long Main trunk improperly installed None of the joints were sealed ( The attic was what was cooling) No distribution duct The new company spent a whole day re-doing the shotty work that family did the first time and now the house is cooling downBut now I am out an additional $ Thanks Family

I paid FH&C $for a furnace inspectionTech came out, spent minutes at furnace, then shows me two metal rings the size of a dime and says he found them in the furnaceTells me it means I need a new heat exchanger$Haha B*S*This furnace was previously inspected a year agoI called another company - their Tech came out spent minutes with diagnostic equipment and a CO meter - checked everything including the supposed faulty heat exchangerGave the furnace a clean bill of healthAnd charged only $ I asked for a refund"Ron" the FH&C supervisor instead offered to "re-inspect" the furnaceWHY??? I said "no thank you" just refund my money pleaseHe refusedApparently keeping my money was more important than honorably providing a refund for bogus service Add to list Edit

Do not use this company folks ,I hired them,they caused damage ,when I called to get it repaired all I got was denials, on top of that they sent the crew out that caused the damage to check it out ,now what do you think the crew said ? I repeat ,do not use them ,look for an honest company

I recently became a widow and the last thing I needed was problems with an old furnaceSo I got quotes from companies and with the rating on Revdex.com for Family Heating and Cooling and their price I was content with using them for a new furnaceFirst off, the "assistant" was putting in the air conditioner while the other employee installed the furnaceThe assistant had to crawl under the porch to access the crawl space, when finished he left the door to the crawl space open and now I have mice under the houseSecond, the employee who installed the furnace left a gap the size of my hand between the duct work for the intake airIf I hadn't had a problem with the furnace week later that gap would have never been fixedAnd for the assistant who left the crawl space door open....someone needs to check his work before leavingThat's just lazy! And then to find out they don't have emergency serviceYou can only contact them during business hoursThat's an uncomfortable feeling

Company replaced by HVAC system Top vent was omitted Full force of the system exhausted into the furnace room I had to contact the Revdex.com to get Family cooling and electric to fix the issue (summer issue) 1st really cold period, the high efficiency furnace would not cool our house Family cooling had to re-run the exhaust vent due to a slope issue We had a mild winterthis year, the furnace would not heat the house when it got really cold rep from family charge for a service call and noted a possible issue with the slope of the vents weeks later Troy went sub Zero and my furnace could not keep up lost deg / hour I am unbelievably unhappy and prepared to replace my furnace I need a system that will keep my pipes from freezing

They installed new water heaterLeft bypass valve open to water softener Bad newsVery unprofessionalHard and dirty water throughout home

I called last Saturday morning not thinking that someone could come out that day to help us out with our air conditioner and within hours and Paul their technician came out and fixed my problem He also advised me how to get better air flow upstairs from the basement He was very informative and did a great job Today is July 13,

I had the Indvcep (that's what it says on my receipt) replaced on my furnace on 1-10-15, they brought out the wrong part and had to come back with the correct one, okbut on 2-9-the replaced part starting making noise again just like it did before they replaced it on 1-10- I called to find out what they could do about it, I was informed that the warranty was only for a year and it would cost me another $to replace it, really? Not even an ok we can work something out or "boy it should last longer than that" I will take my business some where else where the product they sell will last longer than a year Just unacceptable

OMG!!!!!! Who runs this company? I called this company to get an estimate on a mini split unit for my sunroom, the person that they sent out name was NickNick give us a great price for the a Daikin 18k BTU heating and cooling unitHe wrote us up and the following day they scheduled an install dateWhich was weeks awaydays prior, They canceled my install date and said the unit was not in and rescheduled me for Wednesday November 16thThe day before my install date I called the company at 8:58am to see if Friday November 18th was available because I had a coworker out sick and just in case she is out a couple of days or more, my husband would be home on the 18thSandy put me on hold and come back to the phone and said my next available appt is November 30th I told that was too far away, I asked her can I get it installed in the afternoon and she said no because it's an all day appointment, the guys arrive around 8:or am and work until 3:or 4:She then became very persistent as to when will I let her know if I will keep the appointmentI told her I was in route to work as we spoke and that I will call her within the hourShe then said you don't have to be home it can be annybody at the houseI told her I don't have anyone who can house sit for me at last minute, she again asked me when will I let her knowI told her I will let her know within a hourWe hung up the phone and Sandy called me min later and said SINCE YOU ARE HAVING A SCHEDULING PROBLEM I'm GOING TO PUT YOU ON FOR THE 30thI told her I did not cancel the appointment, she said well SINCE THERE WAS TALK THAT YOU MIGHT CANCEL, SOMEONE JUST CALLED WITH NO HEAT WE PUT THEM ON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENTI ASKED HER WHY DID YOU CANCELL MY APPOINTMENT SHE SAID YOU CANCELED YOUR APPOINTMENTI TOLD HER THAT I Did no such thingI was was inquiring about another date just in case my coworker is out longer than expectedI wanted it installed before the holidaysShe started talking over me and finally asked did I want the 30th or not I said no I want to keep my install dateShe then said we have a customer with no heat I told her that I did not have have heat in my sunroom either she said but there's heat in your houseI don't know if it's company policy to hire a manager that lies and fraudulently Cancel appointments or if this is all employee who feels that she can do what ever she wantseither way, I'm taking my Business and my money somewhere elseI wish I would have read the reviews first, with 70% negative reviews and complaints I would not have waisted 1month of my timeDo yourself a favor, don't do business with Family heating and coolingor should I say Phony heating and cooling

New Furnace does not heat my house when outside temperatures are less than deg Multiple services on a new installation Vent angle changes implemented without correcting problem furnace currently doesn't heat house help Service maintenance from the installer (Family Heating Cooling and Electrical) have not corrected my problem

I had a service call todayThe mechanic was very rudeUsing profanity and very unprofessional! I called the officeAnd filed a complaint to the managerBut no resolution yet

The estimator from Family H&C never greeted us or smiledDid not introduce himself or shake hands until I didSame with my husbandI had to introduce him to my husbandShowed him our furnace and he made negative comments about what we wanted to doHe seemed surprised that we wanted to do the A/C tooWhen we asked about replacing the ducts he said "I don't do estimates on that ."We would have to talk to the mechanical sheet guyHe would tell him to call usHe gave us an estimate that did not include all the workAnd stared right through us every time we asked question.We never got a call from their sheet metal guyHe hardly checked anything except for running his hand across my kitchen counter and saying"Oh*** and span"Unacceptable! He was there only minutesBy the way, he never left a card and we still don't know his last name.A very unlikable salesman who never promoted his product or companyHe definitely should not be sent out to represent his company
