Review: While having small renovations,I had to replace platform bed only while leaving rest of bedroom set.On march **,2013 I found it at [redacted],along with mattress 10inch thick and recliner.Mattress later had to be replaced to 9 inch thick cuz it was too high. Bed delivered 3 weeks later began making noises,being new bed and platform I was looking forward to getting good sleep.After numerous phone calls made by me and my daughter,repair/delivery men came in to replace platform cover thinking that its hinges were making noise.We were told by them that initial installation was not done properly, their replacement made things worst. Stores repair guy [redacted] finally came in and blamed on the armoire next to the bed or floor and pasted label on the back of the platform which was not there initially. It looked suspicious already.After speaking to the owner,[redacted], we agreed to return bed frame,keep headboard and anchor it to metal frame,get box spring for the mattress. We were told that 30% of repackaging fee applies and $80 credit will be given to us. Bed costs $850, mattress $550, he would not give us a breakdown of most money he kept in exchange of metal frame.Desired Settlement: We purchased a bed which were told made in Spain for $850, ended up with headboard and metal frame with box spring for mattress. Rest of the money was kept except of $80 refunded which we dont know how it was calculated. At this point bed wabbles,we use own creativity to weight out the balance. For the aggravation,phone calls,making us feel like we are stupid,owner is never there,not cooperating or willing to resolve. Question remains that $850 was spent for box spring and metal frame?

On March**, 2013, the customer came to the store looking for a queen size bed and a mattress. She handpicked a queen size storage platform bed and a mattress that were delivered on a date convenient to the customer. Customer received the merchandise, inspected, and signed for it.

Few days later, the customer contacted admitting that she chose the wrong hight mattress. The new 9' mattress was delivered to her.

Three weeks later, the customer contacted the store again regarding the noise in the storage platform. Immediately, the service crew was sent to the customer's residence and all necessary adjustments were made.

Few days later, the customer contacted the store again stating that she was not fully satisfied with the adjustments made. Another specialist was sent to her residence. Upon second inspection of the storage platform no flaws were found and the specialist suggested that it could be an alternative cause of the noise (uneven floors or just simply the nature of the storage platform). Please note that the customer examined display model before placing her order.

On the next day, the customer came to the store looking for a solution of the problem. Few options were given to the customer (exchange to the same model, exchange to a different model). The customer inspected the floor sample model and agreed that the noise made by the storage platform at the store was not greater that the one she had in her possession. Because the customer liked the design of the headboard of her bed, she decided to keep the headboard and exchange the storage platform to non-opening mattress foundation (box spring) and the metal frame. The customer agreed on the price of the exchanged merchandise and the store refunded $80 to her. The new delivery of the mattress foundation and the frame and pick up of the old storage platform were scheduled. Upon last delivery, the customer inspected the merchandise and signed for it.

Finally, the customer seemed to be fully satisfied. Therefore, It came as a full surprise to receive a letter from the Revdex.com.

In reply to your recent email regarding business Dom Mebeli:;

On March **,2013 with the help of [redacted], sales person we did purchase a queen size platform bed for $850, 10 inch height mattress for $550 and scheduled delivery for April**,2013 due to renovations being made in my apartment. On April **,2013 initial crew who was very rude did set up the platform bed which was not done correctly as stated by 2nd crew who reassembled and assembled the bed on July 9"'. (initial complaint was made on July [redacted]). l was told by the 2nd crew that initial set up of the platform bed was done incorrectly, therefore, screws or springs could have been damaged, bent by sleeping on the bed since April [redacted]. Prior to this, initial mattress purchased had to be exchanged due to its height for 9 inch and I was charged additional $200 + tax ($217.50 total).After July [redacted], the adjustment made to the bed got worst, I contacted the store immediately, was told by [redacted] to allow few days for bed to re-adjust itself Few days later, after sleeping on the floor due to squicking noise I called the store, neither [redacted] or [redacted] were available to speak to. Another week passed by and finally another delivery workers came in to analyze the problem. was told that nothing can be done.I called numerous times to reach owner, [redacted] and begged for him to come over and see for himself but he refused, instead he sent his •"'specialist [redacted]"" who works at the store and sells his furniture not a specialist in furniture defects. When he arrived he blamed my annoire next to the bed floors and rudely replied to me ""nothing is wrong with the bed and don’t call the store anymore'"'. I realized after he left his reason for lifting platform, because he placed a sticker below with name of the platform manufacturer which was not there initially. After many attempts to reach owner, [redacted] and no help offered,I went to the store on July **,2013. We reviewed the situation, no refund or any credit was offered, instead he suggested to get a box spring metal frame which would attach to the headboard and take back the platform frame which would not be ideal scenario but would help,(large springs/binges that held the platform bed and used to lift it may have contributed to the squicky noise). To do it, he would give me back $80 and keep rest of the money for double delivery, double adjustments and repackaging of the platform frame. When asked to itemize the charges,he refused. On July [redacted] ,new workers came in with pieces of cardboards and bubble paper to tape up the platform frame, they didn't want to anchor metal frame to the headboard because they felt it would not balance out the weight the bed Afterwards we used few pieces of wood we purchased at Home Depot and placed them anchored the to the back of the headboard to stabilize the movement between a wall and headboard it still shakes upon movement of the bed. $80 were not returned to me until my daughter went to the store with her husband on July [redacted] to speak to [redacted], once again he was not there and same workers claimed they knew nothing. After such treatment, rudeness, stress, disrespect I decided to write to you so no one else gets involved in such screwtiny. I understand that it may be a tough style of the bed platform but no instructions nor manufacturer's information came in with the bed. When asked, we were shown a book of display only.I agree with the 2nd repair crew who told me that due to wrong set up of the platform, hinges and springs could have been damaged while I slept on it from April ** - July [redacted]. In their letter, they keep on saying ""inspected"", I signed each slip of delivery and my comments went unheard or untold to the owner, I am not a specialist nor a professional to inspect the correct way of installation, I am 67 yrs old who wanted a comfortable bed to sleep in and enjoy but after spending so much money I feel I've been taken for a ride.
