I have reviewed the response from Domain Auto Sales and find it to be deficient and defective as it fails to address the following critical issuesNumber 1: the buyers guide states "this vehicle is sold with all major defects listed on the back of the buyers guide" however the dealership failed to list that information. Number 2: the buyers guide states that the service contract is available at an extra charge yet they failed to provide the information about the service contract and scribbled eligibly over the service contract wordingThe vehicle was sold without an emissions sticker a violation of Pennsylvania lawWhen I attempted to schedule an emissions test appointment with the dealership they failed to return my phone call for days and did not schedule an appointment within the day legal limitWhen the dealership finally made the appointment and performed the emissions inspection the technician covered up the top part of the screen with his handThe car has failed many times while being driven and I have been advised that I am worried could be great danger and liability when driving it yet it is my only transportationOver 1/3rd of the cost of the purchase price of the vehicle has been spent in an attempt to diagnose in trying to fix this dangerous problemI am concerned that this presents a life or death risk to me, any passengers or other motoristsI have had to cancel work which I desperately need as I am my sole supportThis car is not a lemon it is a time bomb on wheelsIt was never revealed to me that this car had owners since the year The garage that attempted to repair the car discovered this information and shared it with meSomething that Doman Auto failed to revealI am requesting a full refund as well as reimbursement of $in full and any other cost that I may incur while this vehicle is in my possession includig any legal fees, court costs etc.

Mr. S[redacted] (Bob) still has not addressed how he arrived at the many different balance amounts nor has he addressed why he made a fraudulent report to the credit reporting agencies an amount of $800+ when he knew that the only amount in question was the $286 (returned check). I am not sure what game Bob is playing at this time around when he states that he will take $286 as a settlement for this matter. It is not a settlement and therefore, his response is rejected. If Bob seriously wants to resolve this matter, as stated in my initial request: 1. provide a complete payment history showing how he reached this $800+ figure; 2. correct my credit reports or, provide me with a letter showing that the amount should actually be $286 and I will contact the credit agencies myself. I will then be more than happy to make the payment of $286 (actual amount owed) to Doman and this matter can be squashed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11191532, and will be sending payment for the returned August payment. Once said check is cashed, Domain Auto will update all three credit reports as "Paid". Please be aware that the statements made in Bob's last correspondence, i.e. missing/late payments to justify the $800+ amount are in accurate as there were none. At this point however, I just want this matter over and done with. I will forward payment by month's end as I am out of the area currently.Revdex.com, thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I purchased a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta from Doman Auto that was a lemon. Bob at Doman Auto chooses not to recognize Kelly Blue Book or the Lemon Law. Bob said the Lemon Law do not exist. The vehicle I purchased had just as much in repairs as the vehicle costs and I believe Bob at Doman Auto knew it was a lemon. The only way to get reimbursed would have been to hire an attorney and sue Doman Auto. I would not recommend that anyone purchase a vehicle from Doman Auto because they are not professional with only an interest to take peoples money for broken down cars. Doman Auto sales vehicles to people without doing proper repairs. It appears that when a vehicle is traded that it's sold in that same condition as it comes through the door. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Doman Auto & Marine Sales on Route 51

Review: I purchased a vehical on 3/16/2015 put all my money into it. I bought it as-is on the back of the buyers guide nothing was circled. I assumed nothing was wrong with the vehical then. On 3/22/2015 I was heading up to New York for my vacation 15 minutes outside of New York my car broke down. I had to have it towed the rest of the way. When I took it the garage they looked at my car they had to do an oil change and they found: Castle OEG "Oil Efficiency Guarantee", New Engine Oil Drain Plug, Remove and Replace EGR Valve and Idle air control valve, EGR1146 new EGR valve, 61177 throttle body gasket, ac61 idle air control valve, remove and replace intake manifold gasket, ms 94286 intake manifold gasket, 21025106 ac deco coolant temperature sensor, pcv1106dl pcv valve and a complete chemical cooling system flush. Resulting in $1075.30 worth of work when I only had the car for a week. Also failed to put the emissions sticker on vehical when purchased, and also when cancelled appointment to have put on it. So Im Driving my car around illegally beings it's my only transportation. My uncle called to have some sort of relief for the cost of the repairs and to see if they would work with us. They flat out refused.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the repairs which was $1075.30 I only had it for less then a week.

Number 2: the buyers guide states that the service contract is available at an extra charge yet they failed to provide the information about the service contract and scribbled eligibly over the service contract wording. The vehicle was sold without an emissions sticker a violation of Pennsylvania law. When I attempted to schedule an emissions test appointment with the dealership they failed to return my phone call for 2 days and did not schedule an appointment within the 10 day legal limit. When the dealership finally made the appointment and performed the emissions inspection the technician covered up the top part of the screen with his hand. The car has failed many times while being driven and I have been advised that I am worried could be great danger and liability when driving it yet it is my only transportation. Over 1/3rd of the cost of the purchase price of the vehicle has been spent in an attempt to diagnose in trying to fix this dangerous problem. I am concerned that this presents a life or death risk to me, any passengers or other motorists. I have had to cancel work which I desperately need as I am my sole support. This car is not a lemon it is a time bomb on wheels. It was never revealed to me that this car had 21 owners since the year 2000. The garage that attempted to repair the car discovered this information and shared it with me. Something that Doman Auto failed to reveal. I am requesting a full refund as well as reimbursement of $1075.30 in full and any other cost that I may incur while this vehicle is in my possession includig any legal fees, court costs etc.

Review: I bought a VW Jetta at Doman Auto (a couple of months later) because the tires on the vehicle would not pass inspection, Bob (salesman) said that he would take $400 off of the purchase price...that dropped down to $200 as he had forgotten what he promised. I then had engine problems which had the vehicle smoking and on fire. I had it at several auto mechanics and finally had it towed back to Doman. I called Bob and told him that I was voluntarily returning the car. He said that he would speak w/his mechanic which he did and then called me. I was told that the cost would be over $1,000. I told him to keep the car. He then said that he could come down to $700. Again I told him to keep the car as I had already put too much into it. He then called me and said that he could take $400 for the repair and that he would move my monthly payment to the end of the loan. I agreed and gave him $400. At that time he said that he thought that my August payment of $286 was returned from the bank and that he would check and get back to me. I did not hear from him or anything about that returned payment again until after I totaled my car a couple of months later. I called Bob to inform him of the accident and to make sure that I had Gap insurance. He told me that I was covered and didn't say anything about the August payment. Approximately 1 week later, Bob called me and said that if I paid him the $286 I could then use the $1,000 (alloted from GAP policy) to purchase another vehicle from him. I told him that I would let him know. I called my insurance company [redacted] and was told that the balance on my car was $7,134 of which they paid $5,950. I then called GAP and they were still waiting for Doman to submit the requested paperwork to them. They started sending the requests to me and once I received the 3rd and Final Request, I left Bob a message to please handle. I called back to GAP and was told that they paid $1,106.57. I asked why not the complete amount ... someone at Doman reported that I was $571.83 delinquent. Shocked and upset, I went to my financial counselor who ran my credit report as I was trying to get a replacement vehicle. She told me that Doman had reported to the credit bureaus that I owed them $800+ dollars. As you can see, the amount has gone from $286 to $571.83 to $800+. I have requested from Bob several times a payment history but he has refused each and every time. He threatened me with taking me to the magistrate and I said that he would still have to provide me with my payment history. Via text (which I still have) I told him that I did not trust him and that after all of this and how he sold my son a vehicle that he could have died in. Everything he says now is suspect. I sent a letter to Bob at Doman approximately 10-days ago to get this settled...no response.Desired Settlement: Provide me with an accurate payment history and correct my credit report. If I owe Doman $286 then I will provide them with a money order in that amount. If they refuse, I will continue with filing my own complaint with the district magistrate.
