reached before the sale. If the customer brings no issues we proceed to sell the vehicle if they want it. We sell all vehicles AS-IS with no warranty. Customer takes responsibility when they leave the car lot.
[redacted] bought her vehicle with a full understanding it was 100% as is. She saw the vehicle posted for sale online and came in to view it. We gave her permission to test drive the vehicle and did not put a time limit on the test drive. She came back just a few minutes later and said "I want...
it". She never asked us if she could have it looked at by anyone personally, or if she could take it to a repair shop for an inspection prior to purchase. Again, she signed an Indiana AS IS buyers guide and signed for as is on her purchase order. She also did not purchase a warranty thru a third party. Her father did come into the business on the afternoon of 3/27/18. I explained to him our phones had been down since the evening of 3/26/18 and we just got them working again around 1pm on 3/27/18. At this point he got rude and used offensive language towards us. We explained to him it was as is and he should go and check the fluids and battery, etc to see if there is an obvious issue to why it wont start. He made more offensive comments and stormed out the door. I can offer her a few shops locally that will diagnose and fix her vehicle at her cost and we can get her a discount on the repairs. The tow should be covered under her insurance, if she in fact has insured the vehicle as she is required to do so by law. I will attach her purchase order and AS IS buyers guide for the transaction.
