Dominion Baseball Academy

Review: Dominion Baseball Academy advertised a winter baseball camp program for members of their 13U [redacted] Fall baseball team. The [redacted] Team Camp was advertised as taught by Coach [redacted] showed up at the camp once. Instead, the camp was typically lead by one of the staffers in the building that given night. Additionally, one camp session was cancelled and not re-scheduled, as was a session of the [redacted] Players Speed Program on another evening. The Academy also falsely communicated information. In December, 2012, we were informed in writing that our son would be given a roster slot on the 13U [redacted] Spring baseball team. In January, the Academy rescinded their decision, informing us that our son would not be invited back. We have committed both money and time in good faith to this Academy, as an investment for our son's training, but have been given nothing but falsehoods and not-as-promised services. The owner refused to offer me a refund of the $540 I paid them in November and he was bellicose and belligerent to me when I reached him by phone.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $540 payment I was charged in November, 2012 as the Academy did not provide services as advertised and falsely communicated information to us.
