I just purchased a house. I called Dominion power 1 800 # back in July to submit a work request order to have my power done at my new property. The representative submitted the work request order. I received a phone call approximately 3 days later from a representative that stated my property was not in line for Dominion power. In the mix I contacted the other power company. The power company stated that my house was not in area that it was Dominion property. I called Dominion back was on the phone for 45 minutes because people kept giving me the run around. I finally got a representative to help submit the work order request. I kept calling the guy finally after 3-4 days the same guy called me back and stated he will work on the issue. I feel like this process should have been done the first time. I am still today in September waiting on Lights for my new house. If the guy had the correct zone plan the first time I would have lights now at my house in addition there is no urgency behind this I am still waiting on them to do the construction for lights. I call him every day and still cant give an ETA on when this is going to be done.Desired SettlementI would like some urgency on getting my lights doneBusiness Response This was a complex issue that has been resolved. I was disrespected and no assistance was given when fraudulent charges occurred with Dominion and my personal account.Someone fraudulently used my personal checking account to pay a Dominion bill. I did not give permission for these charges and Dominion didn't assist me in any way. They kept me on hold for hours, transferred me repeatedly, spoke disrespectfully to me and in the end told me they couldn't help me. They have no check and balance to confirm payments are approved by the owner of the checking account they are removing money from. The customer service is zero and Dominion has a complete monopoly on my community. I have no other options and they treat their customers like garbage knowing they don't have too earn their business. I have every piece of information Dominion needs to track the payment (thanks to my bank) and yet Dominion refused to give me any information regarding the fraudulent charges. Ultimately, the customer's banking institution reversed the charges, and the customer has been refunded the unauthorized charges.
