When I hired CBS Masonry it was because of their well written and detailed quote and the way it was communicated to me I had the feeling from talking to the proprietor, ***, that he would stand by his quote and ensure my satisfaction on the entire job You can judge a company by it's employees and CBC has some stellar staff I came to know his senior man on the job as *** and he would check with me on many aspects of the job to ensure my satisfaction before he progressed He also gave me sound advice on aesthetical aspects of the job to ensure I had options of the outcome and that I would be satisfied with how it would look on completion *** asked me to check with the city of *** to smooth the way with the proper permits so there'd be no delays with the job CBS personnel worked tirelessly is some extremely hot weather never cutting corners and leaving the job site completely cleaned up and tidy My wife and I are very happy with the outcome and would recommend this company to anyone requiring masonry work

We had two retaining walls and a staircase to be removed and then rebuilt a little further back in order to gain some maneuvering room in the driveway and the pathway besides the garageThe project had a few unknowns (like hidden tree roots)CBS Masonry came up with a detailed description of the work to be done and a quote contingent on 'no surprises'
We split the project in 'demolition' and 'reconstruction'The crew always showed up on time, worked very efficiently and kept everything tidyAlmost all rocks and pavers were saved for reuse during the 'reconstruction' partOf course there was a surprise - a hidden tree stompWe got that one removed and then called CBS back to finish the jobCBS was very flexible regarding dates to squeeze our project inDuring 'reconstruction' the CBS crew showed real craftsmanshipThe retaining walls and the staircase both are an excellent piece of workThe final bill was exactly what we previously received as a quote*** showed up on site on a regular basis and always kept us in the loopWe always felt comfortable dealing with CBS during this project where some decisions had to be made while working along
We can and will recommend CBS to others who have any masonry work to be done

CBS rebuilt a stone wall, as well as, both of our fireplace chimneys for us We were very pleased with the workmanship and that they kept to their schedule

We were very pleased with the CBS Masonry and their repair of our chimney. They provided a very detailed reasonable estimate based upon a close inspection of the chimney and did exactly the work described for the amount quoted. Work was quickly done and to a high standard. All the workers on site were courteous and helpful. We particularly appreciated the thorough cleanup after the job.

We were very disappointed with the quality of an Allan Block wall constructed by CBS masonry. We were also very disappointed in the customer service we received. We would not recommend or re-hire this company for any reason.

I have used CBS twice now for concrete work. They are very professional, polite and explained why and what needed to be done.

We were exceptionally happy with the brick work that was done to our home's front exterior by CBS Masonry in April 2015. The project required that they integrate our old brick with a new brick section using some of our old brick and newer brick...not an easy task but the did a fantastic job of it. They were knowledgable and pleasant to work with. Without hesitation we would use them again and recommend them for future projects.
