Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/10/06) */ The customers did have issues with the vehicle and the issues were resolved after the vehicle went to the local [redacted] dealer and were serviced buy a dealer technician at no cost to the customers in may of 2016, after the vehicle was fixed the customer spoke with the finance company they financed the vehicle with, and told them they were satisfied with the repairs on the vehicleWe have the receipts showing all issues were resolved at that timea warranty was offered to the customer after this at their cost and they declined The customer sent a nasty/threatening email to the dealership via [redacted] (which will be provided) months after the original issues, at this time we feel we correctly resolved the issues in a timely matter and cant be responsible for negligence of the vehicle on the customers behalf Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 12, 2016/10/17) */ Like I stated in my complaint, new start did fix the electrical to an extentBut the brakes, non working heat and other mechanical issues addressed to new start were ignored and dismissedAt no time did we inform the lender that we were satisfied, the lender has a long file of these complaints contrary to the factThe owner [redacted] even stated to my wife to " [redacted] and we had to do as he says" class act eh? Pretty sure the motor vehicle act of Nova Scotia does not permit "licensed" car dealers to sell vehicles that have rejected brakes and rejected steering, as well as not having a full inspection done before sale of a vehicleI have the inspection report to back these claims Final Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 17, 2016/10/31) */ At this point I feel that we have gone over and above with the repairs to this vehicle where we took care of all the issues, at one point our regular mechanic couldn't quite figure out the issue with the electrical and the heating so we had the car taken to Dodge itself for repair and they assured us it was fixedEverything was great and haven't heard from the customer for months, then like I explained earlier that out of the blue we received via our [redacted] website a physically and verbally threatening emailAt this point in time I feel that we have done way more than our due diligence in fixing the issue as well as threatening messages we feel that we are done with this issue and do not plan to take any more actionAnd we strongly feel that this case is closedThank you

The customer sent a nasty/threatening email to the dealership via [redacted] (which will be provided) 4 months after the original issues, at this time we feel we correctly resolved the issues in a timely matter and cant be responsible for negligence of the vehicle on the customers behalf.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/10/17) */
Like I stated in my complaint, new start did fix the electrical to an extent. But the brakes, non working heat and other mechanical issues addressed to new start were ignored and dismissed. At no time did we inform the lender that we were satisfied, the lender has a long file of these complaints contrary to the fact. The owner [redacted] even stated to my wife to " [redacted] and we had to do as he says" class act eh? Pretty sure the motor vehicle act of Nova Scotia does not permit "licensed" car dealers to sell vehicles that have rejected brakes and rejected steering, as well as not having a full inspection done before sale of a vehicle. I have the inspection report to back these claims.
Final Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2016/10/31) */
At this point I feel that we have gone over and above with the repairs to this vehicle where we took care of all the issues, at one point our regular mechanic couldn't quite figure out the issue with the electrical and the heating so we had the car taken to Dodge itself for repair and they assured us it was fixed. Everything was great and haven't heard from the customer for 5 months, then like I explained earlier that out of the blue we received via our [redacted] website a physically and verbally threatening email. At this point in time I feel that we have done way more than our due diligence in fixing the issue as well as threatening messages we feel that we are done with this issue and do not plan to take any more action. And we strongly feel that this case is closed. Thank you
