Domino's Pizza

My diabetic senior mom placed this online order. Diabetics normally have a strict diet but this meal was considered her "cheat meal" and a treat for her grandchildren. My mom did not anticipate the order taking almost 2hrs to be delivered. She excitedly waited at the window for the delivery because she watched the "tracker" update the order going out the door at 9PM. When the time kept getting later and later she started to worry that she may not have correctly placed the online order. Her excite turned to a nervous pace as she asked her grandchildren to check online behind her for accuracy and that she was not sure why the order was taking soo long to arrive. When the order finally arrived at 10:45PM, the pizza box was wet and the inside showed signs that the cheese was touching the inside top of the box but as it turned cold it solidified. I called and spoke with the manager Michael who said he was too busy to call customers to advise them of the advanced delivery time, although, the driver had been out the door for almost 2hrs!! Why do we add a phone number to the order if you aren't going to use it to update customers on delays etc. Michael then went on to explain about operational issues with loosing drivers and having too many orders for their "large" delivery area. Michael said they've been notifying call in orders on delay delivery time but the online customers have been just lingering in limbo bc corporate wont update the expected delivery time to reflect moreso 2hrs vs. 1hr. After expressing my (the customer) concerns, Michael gave no remedy to the issue I presented. I asked for him to come pick up the order and refund my mothers $55!! Michael replied that he is not authorized to give any refunds and I need to contact his franchisee, Mr. B and Ms. M. I contacted the number Michael gave me and the answering service gave the staff choices in first name references, I had no clue what Mr. B or Ms. M's first names were, so I was unable to choose the correct vm box to leave a message! Afterwards I felt very confused if Dominos staff address each other in first name references, why would Michael give me a contacts last name only? It seems as though he was trying to throw me off and did not think I'd actually call the number he gave me to call. Dominos advertises a 45 min delivery time and this delivery far exceeded the advertised times. I am very disappointed, moreso that my moms excitement turned to disenchantment on Mothers Day weekend. I order pizza and specified what I wanted in the pizza online. When I got my pizza it was missing the feta cheese. I called and spoke to a female who claimed she was the manager. When I told her my order was wrong she told me she was too busy!!! I don't appreciate being tested in a manner of this way. I asked if this was a franchise or chain and she stated franchise and ga e me a number that no one answered.
