Review: On October **, 2013 I visited this company for consultation and lefta deposit of $1575 for services to be rendered on Saturday, October **, 2013. However, I decided to cancel on Monday, October **, 2013. I was told that I can cancel within three days of my services. I did not receive any services therefore I should receive my full refund. They avoid my calls and refused to give me my full refund.Desired Settlement: I want my full refund

Please be advised that contracts are in place to set forth the rules and regulations of our company. The client has acknowledged the terms by signing the appropriate agreements which were presented to her during the consultation.

As per customer’s statement of the problem to the Revdex.com, she left a 50% deposit of $1575 for services to order her custom hair, see Preliminary Treatment. However, since the client cancelled the order within 3 business days, as per her contract agreement she is eligible to receive a refund in the amount of $787.50 (50% of the deposit), as per contractually agreed, see Agreement attached hereto.

At this point in time, the customer’s refund is currently being processed and will be completely facilitated on/by 11/**/2013.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I made a few attempts to email my request re open my case.

My name is [redacted] I went to a company called Microdots Technique on October **, 2013 for a free consultation for my hair. I filled out the paper work and gave a down payment of $1575 for services to be performed on October **, 2013. I cancelled two days later and was told that I can only get back half of my down payment. No services was performed and I cancelled in enough time. I was told that I can get a refund within 3 business days, however I informed them within two. The 50% refund that was stated in the agreement was for services performed. This company draw of contracts to confuse the customers. Please help one get my full refund.

Please be advised that contract are in place to set forth the rules and regulations of our company. The client was well aware of our policies and acknowledged these terms by signing the appropriate contracts, which were presented to her during the consultation,

As per the customer's statement to the Revdex.com, on the date of, October [redacted], 2013, she left a 50% deposit of $1575 for services to order her customized hair. However, since the client cancelled within 3 business days, she was eligible to receive a 50% refund in the amount of $787.50. (Please see Paragraph 3: Refund Policy: Letter A of the contract)

As customer stated to the Revdex.com, "The 50% refund that was stated in the agreement was for services performed." Please review our Refund Policy which states, "If !elect to cancel this agreement within 3 business days, then 50% of the initial payment will be retained for the time and work that was started to produce this order." The money retained reflects the preliminary work that is needed to create the custom hair order, prior to application. (Please see Preliminary Treatment Form)

Customer also stated that our contracts are in place to "confuse the customer". However, we make sure that the customer u nderstands and acknowledges every aspect of the contract that Is In place to avoid any confusion and ensure their acknowledgement of the terms. (Please see initials to Paragraph 6: Miscellaneous: Letter A of contrac't).
