Review: January, 2012, my alternator dies, along with my battery in [redacted]. I was stranded and had to have my vehicle towed off from the ** Turnpike to a Towing lot, then towed from the lot back to **, where I parked it at Mr. Tire (on a Sunday). Couple of weeks before the Water-Pump had been replaced(twice - due to incompetent work). You have to take off the alternator to reach the Pump. This was no coincidence. The Mechanic confirms that I need to replace, both my Alternator and Battery. So, with great reservation and distress I had it done. The following day, I spoke with [redacted] (the Manager) regarding this issue, and I wanted to contact the Regional Manager. By this time. [redacted] seemed to empathize with my situation, and offered to give me a store credit of $100 and free car alignment, and even though I have a case to get a refund on the replacement of the Alternator and Battery ($395), I felt that [redacted] was genuinely trying to help all he could, so I agreed. Flash forward, March. I drive into The Mr. Tire shop to set up a vehicle inspection. I spoke with another person and I ask for Manager ([redacted]). I was told he no longer worked there and that he was the manager. So I explained to him what had happen and explained to him that I was given a $100 and Aliment at no cost with the former manager. He then refused. I ask him to look up my name up in the computer, and he stated there was indeed a $100 credit, but no free Aliment. Now, I didn't see what was on the computer and at that point I asked for the regional managers name and number. He replied that he could only give me this person's email address, no number, not even a name. That's totally unacceptable. At this point, I didn't know what to think. So before I really got upset, I got his info and left. I had made an agreement with this establishment (Mr. Tire / Goodyear) based on not pursing to get a refund for what was a unethical repair.Desired Settlement: I would like the agreement to be honored or refund me $395.90
