I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was not satisfied because he lied about everything I had just taken my car to emissions and it failed and then he takes it there with a cracked block and it passes no way he sabotaged my engine I want my full refund of 650 even though a new engine cost more than that I just want my money back so I can never go there again

This is in response to the letter I received from you dated 7/11/2014.1 apologize for the delay in my response, however, I just received it 7/19/2014.
In regards to the complaint against myself and my business, I am disagreeing with all of Mr. [redacted] accusations and declining his petition....

In reading his complaint, it is very clear to me that he has no substantial evidence to support any of his accusations. He is basing it on a bashing spree from [redacted] a rival shop. On April 21, 2014 Mr. [redacted] brought in his vehicle for repairs to be able to pass emissions. Attached is the repair invoice/receipt listing the work that was performed on his 1990 Cadillac, an overflow of oil and antifreeze is not on my list. This work and price was agreed upon prior to beginning repairs. I am too busy to "sabotage" other parts of a vehicle just so I can create more work for myself. Yes I took his vehicle on my flatbed truck to emissions testing for him as a service to my customer, due to the fact that he dropped it off with no current registration or insurance. In case he or your department are not aware, Emissions is a federal organization therefore a federal crime to manipulate its systems or employees. I did not payoff, bribe, etc any person or employees from any motor vehicle division. He picked up his vehicle in good running condition from my shop on April 27,2014. Mr. [redacted] called me on May 12,2014, two weeks later, stating his car wasn't working right and I advised him to bring it back to me so I could take a look at it. This was the last I heard from him until this complaint letter from your business. I think it's unfair for him to make such accusations with no supportive evidence or further communications with me. It may have been the shop he dropped it off at to cause damages to get his business. I am sorry for his situation but his vehicle is 24yrs old, no substantial or regular maintenance had been performed on it, and there is no knowledge of how the vehicle had been used in the past 24 yrs or the past 2yrs Mr. [redacted] had possession. Mr. [redacted] and I had an honest arrangement which I fulfilled. There is too much time lapse with vehicle usage with no supportive evidence to validate Mr. [redacted]' complaint.
Best Regards,
