Review: On July 11th, I give Mr. [redacted] a check for $600.00 as part of our agreement to repair my backyard fence for $1175.00.

Mt. [redacted] cashed the check and I have not heard from him.

I left a voicemail on his cell phone and asked him to return my money asap so that I can proceed with getting the job completed. But to no avail. He's not answering his telephone nor returning any of my calls.

Don Mulholland, last known address being South 74th St in West Allis,, Wi was hired by me to repair plumbing fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens of a duplex. He provided a proposal and requested a down payment since materials were expected to be extensive. His progress stopped for unknown reasons other than potential health issues. In fact, he only put about 3 hours into a job that was expected to take 40-80 hrs. I called numerous times and sent a certified letter stating the breach of contract. It was returned unclaimed.

The only reason I provided a down payment was that I wanted the project to begin as soon as possible and he had done 3 small project earlier in the year. As it turns out that the door that he replaced had similar problems within 6 months to the prior one and he never reseated a toilet he promised to repair.

I would not recommend hiring this person. But if you do hire him, he requires monitoring and do not provide a down payment.
