Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We have the paperwork provided by Champion Roofing, which failed to provide any warranty information We believed Mr [redacted] when he advised us the roof would last years.I would also again reiterate, Mr [redacted] NEVER advised us that the repairs he was making on the roof was NOT warranty work Mr [redacted] also failed to respond to our prior statement Champion Roofing came out several weeks ago to put a temporary fix on the roof and stated that if that worked, which it didn't, they would place a permanent repair to the area Are they denying this? Again, when it rained again, we made numerous attempts to contact them without response.I would also like to point out that Champion Roofing in response to our complaint, ADMITS that the problem area was clearly not roofed properly They stated that they have text messages "within months of the original roofing" (despite the fact we were in a drought) the roof leaked in the same exact area.I find it odd that they are now stating the design of the roof is the issue We previously had a gravel roof in excess of years without this issue.Champion Roofing stated that they are "OK with how the customer chooses to proceed I can only think of possible solutions 1) Have Champion Roofing honor their WORD and repair the leak to our roof or if they cannot or do not wish to handle the repair properly, 2) we will obtain an estimate to repair the area, if they agree to pay for the proper repair.I would also like to point out that as a result of the leak in the roof, our ceiling and wall has been damaged Regards, [redacted]

Thanks for following up Troy. Sorry for the delay. Here is my proposal; 1. I will attempt to repair the leak for a fee2. I will wait to collect any money until we have a good rain to determine if the repair fixes the leak3. I will not be held liable for any interior damages that have occurred. Thank you for helping out with this. Let me know the outcome when it has been determined *** *** *** ***

To whom it may concern: We at
Don’s Auto Sales pride ourselves on being a dealership for the people. It is therefore a shame when someone tries to
paint us in a less than desirable light.
We have
conducted business with Mr*** before and hoped we had
fostered a relationship of trust On
January 28th 2017, we began a deal with Mr*** for the
purchase of a GMC Terrain. The deal
was as follows: We would sell Mr*** the GMC Terrain for $14829.79, plus taxes ($877.21), license and registration ($136.50), document and processing fee ($150.00) and trauma fee ($6.50)We would take Mr***’s Ford Ranger as a trade in for $4,000.00.Mr*** would only have to pay a difference of $12,000.00The vehicle (Terrain) had
only been in our possession for a couple of weeks and we had not completely
finished the necessary repairs and/or alterations for it to be completely sale
floor ready. As mentioned by Mr
***, this included a broken tail light. The delivery date was not set in
stone, but Mr*** stated that he was in no hurry as long as it was all
fixed. As often happens, the best laid
plans don’t often come to fruition. Unfortunately
repairs took a little longer than we had anticipated. We finished getting the vehicle ready for Mr
*** and promptly called him to come and pick up his vehicle. During this time, a very small inconvenience
arose. While parked in our lot, the
Terrain got a very minor scratch on the side.
It was so insignificant that it didn’t even require new paint, and a
simple buff to the vehicle took care of it.
We did not take photographs of the scratch due to the fact that it was
so insignificant, and we were more concerned with resolving the inconvenience
and fulfilling our deal with Mr***.
To have presented the vehicle this way would have been
unprofessional. We informed Mr
*** of the inconvenience and that we would be taking care of it. We were very careful with the wording and
translation to insure that nothing was lost in translation. Despite our best efforts, Mr
*** seemed to have not understood.
We told him to come in to the office so that we could concretely explain
the situation again, and resolve any misunderstanding that might have occurred. We do not know what transpired from the time
we informed Mr*** of the small incident and when he came into our
dealership, but he was not in a pleasant mood.
He arrived in the office and informed us that he did not want a “crashed
vehicle.” We proceeded to try and engage
Mr*** in conversation to once again try and resolve the
misunderstanding that led to this situation.
We continued to repeat the timeline of events to Mr*** in the
hope that he would understand what had actually happened. He continued to repeat in an increasingly
louder voice that he did not want to purchase a vehicle that had crashed. If Mr*** felt that our voice was
raised, it was only in an attempt to try and once again communicate the actual
events that transpired. The use of an
interpreter might have also made it seem louder, as there is an additional
voice in the mix. Tempers may have rose a little and
since an end pas was all that was reached, Don Frank, the owner and salesman
who conducted the entirety of the deal said all he could say and exited the
room. Mr*** also proceeded to
leave.We will reimburse Mr***
the $12,at the end of the month. We
close our pending deals at the end of each month. We hope this will satisfy Mr*** and
close this claim. Sincerely,Don F*, owner

JD E*** collected deposits totaling over $3,on furniture he did not build for usFurther, he belatedly delivered two tables and a bookcase which required significant repairs to the stain and hardware and has not returned as he promised to repair them These items were paid for by us, in full, totaling almost $10,He has held us up for months making promises he never kept and now it appears has no intention of keeping In the beginning he positively committed to an 8-estimate for delivery but of the items we did receive delivered them in a 16-week timeframeHis follwas always negligent and now he claims no responsibility for the items that require repairs nor will he return our money for the items he never builtHe represented himself as an upstanding member of the business community but we belatedly learned has no affiliation with any area business group e.g., *** and the *** Board has said he is in fact unlicensed
