The Dining Room Staff at Don's Grill has tried their best to serve you to your expectationsThe Cooks have tried their best to meet all of your demands, which are far more thanany customer We have never served someone a "Raw" steak and then "burnt it" when it was sent back I do not tolerate customers who make a scene and raise their voices in front of my workers and other customers when they have a problemAfter repeated complaints from you about petty things, my staff feels that they should not have to dealwith the verbal abuse that you bestow upon them Therefore, I decided to exercise my right as a business owner to "Refuse you Service."As far as me not calling you, you spoke to my Dining room Manager and I really have nothing else or different to say.We truly appreciate your patronage as we appreciate all of our customers....however, I think it has come to the point where your business is not worth thestress and mental anguish that you put on my staff May you find another restaurant that can meet your needs and expectations as it seems we could not

I am rejecting this response because: Don lied in statement when he said "they don't serve steak raw"If it was not raw we would not have bothered the kitchen or waitress staff out it, but on numerous occasions the wait staff was surprised to see how raw and chewy it was, and only a couple of times the steak came back over cookedWe always pay for their mistakes even though we don't eat the meal, we pay for itWe did not raise or throw a fit in front of others in your business, we may talk loud when we are having a good time weather it's ourselves or other customers which we did on that day we were thereNo scene was made, other customers and family members we saw there that day is who we talked with but no scene was made, sorry you don't know the difference of a scene and people having a good time talkingAs for when we came to eat your place again and was told we were not welcome, yes Danni talked with me but she know nothing she told me of why you banned us, so I'm sorry to say this is why I asked you to call me to talk with you when you got back from vacation or else I would not have bothered you, but since your assistant didn't know what was going on and neither did we it was best I talk straight to you the ownerWe pay for all meals we order, we leave a nice health tip to all your workers that wait on us from your waitress, to your bus person, down to your cashier who willing took our tip money, and your workers would apologize for the bad service and repeatedly I would tell them no worry it's not their fault it was cooked wrong and would thank them for their serviceWe are not difficult people to serve, we are good people who like others have off days, we just would like a steak properly or any meal properly made since we are the customersWe use to go to your place because it was like second best to home cooked meals until you started not to care how your customers feltIt's a sad that we have patronized your place for the start of the business to come down to thisAnguish does not begin to tell how we feel over this, and the treatment we got from you lately, we feel as if we have been discriminated by you.

We have enjoyed Dons Grill in Hilo Hawaii for over years, it has been a family favorite over the years and the waitresses are very friendly, also we have made new friends by meeting other patrons there, but recently there have been problems with the steaks being served raw and when asked to cook it just a bit more it comes back to our table burntVery hard to enjoy something that is either raw or over cooked, and this has happened many occasions, we have asked to talk to the owner a few times about the problem and he just ignores our request Dons Grill (Hilo, Hi.) has now refuse service to our family over complaints to the kitchen over their raw steaksThis is unfair to be treated this way after patronizing the business for over years, this is discrimination towards us, this is just not right when it's the cook who continually serves raw meatWe always pay for the meal although it is not done right or even if we don't eat the meal, we still pay the bill
