I would like to report a response from Don's Topsoil of *** PA to my complaint of 9/8/14. The owner came to see me regarding my complaint about the quality of the topsoil, which was more like landfill, that his son had delivered to me on August 21.
He was surprised to see the amount of stone that was in it which I had saved after screening the dirt. He said he wanted me to be a happy customer and asked how he could make that happen. After explaining that I had spent about hrsa day since delivery screening the yards of dirt he offered me $consolation "prize"
I accepted that because of his apology for the quality of product but let him know it did not make up for the cost of my time in screening. I have come to understand that what I paid was not an unusual price for stoned dirt but it was sold to me a suitable for lawn coverage which it was not
