ID ***I received the report from your office this past WednesdayI am responding to the complaint not justifying or arguing concerning the outcome.It is not the responsibility of the installer if the cement slab after months has a moisture problem.I would rather question
the moisture guard that is sold to us to use for the flooring Obviously it doesn't do its job When the flooring was put down there was nota moisture problem and the slab is a very old slab in a very very old houseIt is unfortunate that my customerbears the end result.Actually *** *** is not my client and if this was a legal matter I couldjust ignore it, but I won'tI also will ignore
her personal comments as they are not appropriate in this complaint.To fight *** *** *** as the little guy is ridiculous I will alwayslose so I wont even try to waste any of my time They are never at fault and even if they are theyalways will intimateto the customer that it is the installer's fault unless you push it and I have not the patience or time for that If I could fix it myself I wouldbut I am unable physically because of my health issues which I will not go into.I would never intentionally do work for anyone that is questionable as I am proudof my work. This is what I will do because I am concernedfor *** ***,my client in her situation.I will refundthe total labor of $1175I will only refund the cost for the flooringas ldonot believe I should pay for moistureguard underlayment that did not work the first time.I will get the cost of the flooring from *** minus thetrims and moldingswhich can be used again and minus
the undelayment moistureguard and tape.The flooring is vinyl, I have seen it stay together in a floodedfloor , funny how it can come apart with a moisture problem Makes you wonder about the qualityof the vinyl.The previous coveringwas indoor outdoorcarpet for plus years No moisture problemwith that Very interesting how *** can point the finger so easily at the installer.I do not have enoughmoney to pay in a lump sum as I am on a fixed income now, working minimum as I retired at in September 2014.I will pay a minimum of $a month til the balance is paid off, that is the best I can doI will present that to Mrs*** ***I am not interested in whether it is acceptableto Miss *** *** or notShe is not mycustomerIam sending a letter to Mrs*** *** this date also expressingmy regret of the flooring problem.Also I will requestthat she aecept my offer of $per month for
