I became a tenant of [redacted] Apartments on April 4, and lived there for yearsI was a model tenant, my rent payment was never late, I never received a complaint form the leasing office nor any of the neighborsI decided to move out because the rent increases were getting out of hands, so I submitted a Notice To Vacate days in advance, according to Donatelli Management's policy I noted on my letter I would move out on or before the 4th of April 2017, however after I found out that I would be charge extra rent for those extra April days, I made arrangements on my schedule and ended up moving out and turning in my keys on March 31, (My rent had been paid for up to this date in advance) Although I made sure I vacated the apartment on my last day of paid rent, the Donatelli Management via their leasing office at [redacted] apartments refuses to refund my security deposit in the corresponding amount, alleging that I am responsible to pay prorated rent on day

I am in receipt of your letter concerning a complaint from *** *** who was a resident at *** *** Apartments (complaint number ***)I have read *** ***'s complaint and looked into her lease file*** *** lease term was 12-months and began on April 4, and ended on
April 3, I have attached the portion of the lease outlining her lease term for your information.*** *** did provide the office with a 60-day notice to vacate and at that time was reminded that her lease term ended on April 3, *** *** paid through March 31, Her prorated portion of rent due (April - April 3) was deducted from her security deposit.Please let me know if there is any other information you need from me or the *** *** staff.Regards,Stephen H***
