Working with Done Deal Iron Works has been the worst experience regarding service, delivery, installation, and product qualityWe were quoted a price for removing a wrought iron letter from our entry gate and replacing it with another letter of the same qualityUpon receipt of the gate from the job, the letter was backwards and not wrought ironI could wiggle the flimsy letter with my fingersThe company took it back to ensure it was done correctly (facing the correct direction and of appropriate material); however, it is far from satisfactoryThe letter is now wrought iron, but is scratched and dingedThe delivery men couldn't speak any English so I could not effectively communicate my questions or concernsIn fact, one of them had to call the office so that the receptionist could translateThe side bars used for mounting were unknowingly modified and now there are many new holes in our brick instead of them using the existing holesThat was never communicated to me at allThey simply showed up with it and mounted it without showing me the modificationAll the pieces for remounting were saved, so this should not have been an issueFor over two months, during the process of trying to get our finished gate back, I struggled to get feedback through phone calls with Done Deal and I rarely received a return callThe receptionist would say that she understood my call and would get right back to me, but wouldn't return calls as she statedAfter the work was done, I was told I didn't pay enough for it and owed moreWhen I explained that I paid exactly the quoted amount, they realized it and said that correspondence requesting more money was a mistakeFrom service to product, there are plenty of disappointmentsOur gate and its mountings are of very poor finished quality, as we expected and were quoted a gate that would have the letter replaced with a NEW one and freshly powder coated Being that the letter is banged up, it doesn't look new, the mountings are modified and are not smoothly finished and stick out like an eye sore, and the delivery men actually tried to touch it up with black spray paint to pull off a "finished" look

Working with Done Deal Iron Works has been the worst experience regarding service, delivery, installation, and product quality. We were quoted a price for removing a wrought iron letter from our entry gate and replacing it with another letter of the same quality. Upon receipt of the gate from the job, the letter was backwards and not wrought iron. I could wiggle the flimsy letter with my fingers. The company took it back to ensure it was done correctly (facing the correct direction and of appropriate material); however, it is far from satisfactory. The letter is now wrought iron, but is scratched and dinged. The delivery men couldn't speak any English so I could not effectively communicate my questions or concerns. In fact, one of them had to call the office so that the receptionist could translate. The side bars used for mounting were unknowingly modified and now there are many new holes in our brick instead of them using the existing holes. That was never communicated to me at all. They simply showed up with it and mounted it without showing me the modification. All the pieces for remounting were saved, so this should not have been an issue. For over two months, during the process of trying to get our finished gate back, I struggled to get feedback through phone calls with Done Deal and I rarely received a return call. The receptionist would say that she understood my call and would get right back to me, but wouldn't return calls as she stated. After the work was done, I was told I didn't pay enough for it and owed more. When I explained that I paid exactly the quoted amount, they realized it and said that correspondence requesting more money was a mistake. From service to product, there are plenty of disappointments. Our gate and its mountings are of very poor finished quality, as we expected and were quoted a gate that would have the letter replaced with a NEW one and freshly powder coated. Being that the letter is banged up, it doesn't look new, the mountings are modified and are not smoothly finished and stick out like an eye sore, and the delivery men actually tried to touch it up with black spray paint to pull off a "finished" look.

Service was great !
