December 8, Dear [redacted] ,Please allow this to confirm receipt of your December 03, correspondence regarding the above captioned matter[redacted] ***’s follow up appears to indicate that she did not say they would prefer to go thru [redacted] for their damagesRather, it was her husbandOur record is not clear as to which insured indicated that to us.We are in agreement with [redacted] regarding the location of damage and the police being called.Regarding the arbitration decision, it was received in our office on 10/22/We agree that they should have been advised of the decision before 11/17/and regret that we didn’t advise them in timelier mannerWe are unable to supply them with a copy of the decision due to confidentiality agreements with Arbitration ForumsThe gist of it is that neither party could prove the liability of the other.We are not pleased with the decision rendered by the arbitrator regarding our subrogation claimWe paid $2,under the collision and rental coverages that we were anxious to recoverHowever, we were pleased that they also decided that we did not owe [redacted] for their insured’s collision loss.The [redacted] have a $collision deductibleThey are free to pursue recovery of that deductible from the other party involved in the accidentDeductibles are not governed by the arbitration decision.Should you have any questions, or if you wish to discuss the matter further, please contact me at ###-###-#### Ext***.Very Truly Yours,Gus G, SCLAClaim Supervisor

DONT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS! one month youy get a bill for $and the next month its $2,I cancelled my policies with them in 2/3/at least that's what I thoughtcome to find out the didn't actually cancel it until 3/8/I received a bill on 2/11/stating that the policies was going to cancel on 2/18/if I didnt pay the $i owed themI disregarded the bill because I thought it was already cancelled after I signed and sent my agent the cancellation forms on 2/3/Then I get another cancellation letter on 3/1/saying I owe $4,I have been trying to figure out for the last months how it went from the $to $4,and they still cant tell me how much I supposedly oweThese people are the biggest crooks I have ever done business withThey even owe me $3,from a Work Comp Audit and added it to my balance of $4,they say I owe themI guess they think I must pay for the full term of the policies when I canceled half way through the termthe total work comp policy was $7,and I had already paid $to the time that I cancelledStay away from them! Terrible Terrible Insurance CompanyAll this after I paid on time every time for years and never made a claim

I would not recommend this companyFirst off they under insured me!!! I had a compound open fracture and was off work for four monthsWhen I could not pay my premium they dropped meTo tell you the truth it was the best thing that could have happened because I found better coverage at a better rateSo if your thinking about purchasing insurance from this company I would think again and look around!!!!!

If you notice they say *** *** called over and over again
Notice that our passenger door was hit and *** ***'s front driver's side corner which show's that *** was almost out of the intersection when she was hit
My understanding was you do not call the police if the car is drivable or no one is hurt
We also never received a copy of the arbitrator's decisionAlso *** *** had to call Donegal 11/17/14to find out the arbitrator's decision Donegal or *** ***'s did not contact us
As to our first complaint our problem was the we were not keep up to date as to where we were in the processWe had to keep calling them to find out

verify that we have properly insured the home to replacement costWe do not rely on tax records as each county or jurisdiction measures and taxes on varying square footage calculationsThis could be heated space, interior square footage or exterior square footageInsurance company measurements contemplate all Square footage for the structure, as we use it to calculate the replacement cost of the entire structureThis is different from calculating the interior living space Square footage, commonly cited in residential real estate transactionsIt is common for insureds to not understand this difference when purchasing insurance for their homeBy employing an inspection service, we can be assured that homes will be measured on exterior square footage 100% of the time.Based on the results of the inspection on this home, we found the exterior square footage to be 3,211, with an adjustment made for the built in garageWe corresponded with the insured’s agent (*** Insurance) to verify that the correct home was inspected and measuredHearing no response, we increased coverage on the home, resulting in an increased premium adjustment.We will comply with MrS***’s request to have the inspection reviewed and verified.If you need additional information, please let me knowSincerely,Karen R

October 23, 2014Dear *** ***,This is in response to your letter of October 21, 2014, regarding homeowner insurance for *** *** of ***, Georgia.Since our response to you on September 24th, we asked our inspection company to verify their initial inspection resultsBased on these results, we can affirm the exterior square footage to be 3,211, with an adjustment made for the buigarage, bringing the total finished living square footage area down to 2,sqft., which is very close to the 2,sqftthat she quotesThe 20xscreened in porch is not included in those measurementsThe inspection company did revise some of the features that they used in the *** *** *** replacement cost estimating tool, and arrived at a new estimated replacement cost of $320,We communicated these changes with the *** insurance agent, *** *** of *** Insurance, who authorized a decrease in coverageThis was completed on October 13th.We would encourage the *** to reach out to their agent so that they can meet face to face to resolve any lingering questions or concerns*** *** can be reached at ###-###-####, ext***.Sincerely,Karen R

I just wanted to leave this review for people who are looking for insuranceI switched my insurance three years ago to this company because they were half the price of other companies with similar coverageI was recently in an accident that was not my fault (rear ended on the interstate, police cited the other driver, etc)It took me TWO DAYS to get an insurance adjuster on the phoneI managed to talk to this person twice, totalIn two daysWhen I finally got in touch with the adjuster to get a rental set up, she set the rental up for a city over two hours away from my location I had to call customer service and the representative that answered tried everyone in the adjuster's office and even she couldn't get anyone on the phoneI finally filed a direct claim with the other persons insurance (Progressive) and they got me into a rental, got my car to a collision center, agreed to pay for all of the hospital bills, AND write a check for lost wages and damages all within hoursIt took me TWO DAYS just to get an adjuster from Donegal on the phone! They take your money, but they do NOTHINGShell out the extra cash and go with a company like ProgressiveIt might be expensive, but at least you can count on those other companies to at least answer the phone when you need them

Donegal refused to pay me for covered losses on my property when I had damage. I would not recommend this company to ANYBODY...not even my worst enemy. I paid my premiums for homeowners, auto, umbrella insurance for over ten years and never made a claim. During the 11th year, I made a claim and they refused to properly cover my damages. It's hell dealing with this company. THey're glad to take your premium, but they refuse to properly pay damages. BUYER BEWARE.
