Review: I own a 1999 chevy malibu I purchased last october 2013. This summer my vehicle overheated so took to [redacted] front end alignment business.When I brought the there he had his machanic look and see what was wrong. He didn't really check to see if it was a small problem or not. For instance, he didn't look at the oil dipstick for signs of water being mixed in it, but I was told it was the headgasket flat out. However, [redacted] had told me to purchase a water pump afterwards to put on. Eventhough it wasn't leaking, so I did. Come to find out that wasn't the problem. From there I realized I had to find another motor for my car. Mind you, this was in late july. He told me to park the car on the side of his garage while I look one. Since my car was there I would do a walk-around every time I came by to talk to him or his machanic. Before I even took my car to his garage the body, tires and windows were good. I found a motor for it in september and had it delivered there. [redacted]'s machanic ** had told me that someone by the name of [redacted] would be putting it in. So I called and asked about it and [redacted] got ignorant with me because I mentioned that I was told [redacted] was going to be working on it. He shouted over the phone, "don't tell me how to run my business", which I never intended. Now this [redacted] guy is not his employee there so I figured he's paying him under the table. Like ** had done before when I would need my fan belt changed, brakes put on, etc., as long as it was a small job ** would have me bring my car to the garage whenever [redacted] was out on the school bus picking up students, I would just pay Ed under the table instead. He charged me a smaller price to do it and pocket the money. My neighbor and I would go to the garage to check how things were going. ** and [redacted] were working on my car trying to put the other engine in. Finally they finished it and I came and picked it up on october 1. I needed an inspection too and [redacted] put it on without even checking anything on my car.Desired Settlement: I got my car back with the front windshield cracked down the middle at the top where the mirror is located. I asked [redacted] to take a look at it and explained to him that my window was not like that when parked there. He disregarded what I said and had no intentions of replacing it. I expect that the two machanics were aware of it but didn't say anything about it.I feel as if I'm a valued customer to him after as much business I gave him.
