She's right there was a weather problem in Texas, a little Hurricane ! My wholesaler, in Texas, unable to ship, did NOT receive this information until one day priorI went out of pocket, over $to find flowers for her weddingWhat she purchased to begin with was A "Designers Choice" wedding Package of $Then as time went by, wanted to change it up...I'm sorry, but, If I am ever refunded by my Wholesaler, who is currently NOT operating, I will be happy to refund $per centerpiece, which is gracious, because ANY centerpiece takes the same amount of time and to get a price of, $each is unheard of! For even Baby's breath in a mason jar is more moneyThese designs were in oasis and places in her boxes, they were beautiful and would of cost $each from any other florist.Mother Nature pulled a fast one, Not my fault, the flowers her money paid forFlooded awayI'm out $$ also! I stand with my first response..and can give you the person in charge of the Venue...my designs were beautifully recieved..looked lovelyIm STILL out of pocket on this wedding...I wont budge..SincerelyDonna B

I apologize for the tardie response time in regard to this matter but I have not been working do to an illness and just recently received my mail.I will address Mrs***'s complaints one at a time,However I must say I am appalled at the things that she accuses and consider them slander
and defamation of character to say the leastI have been in the floral industry for over years, in that time I have had less than half a dozen complaintsAnd of those complaints I have been able to fix most of them because keeping my customers happy is importantword of mouth in a small town is crucial..howeverin this instance I was misled and lied to.....My time is not freeAnd Ive been accused of things that are simply untrure.I operate a small part time business by myself I am the only employee , when I am sick I lock my doors when I have consultations I lock my doors when I do funeral pieces I lock my doors and when my goats are giving birth, I lock my doors.I could care less who thinks this is inappropriate I'm a small part time business owner.I met with *** and *** on March 2nd at p.mat the *** ***, (my shop is feet inches wide and there simply isn't room for two much less people to sit) I have a lot of bridal consultations at Leonardo's cafe but it closes at o'clock I also have consultation across the street in the park when it's nice but I met *** at the *** ***, that is where I know her from that is where we have socialized, and when I asked *** if that was okay she said yes of course it is.I might add that I drank water the bride had a cocktail.Before we met I sent *** a text asking her if she was prepared to pay the $save the date FEE, her responseWas Yes! I do not charge a consultation fee but I do charge a save the date FEE as do a lot of other Florist, in case you have to turn down other Brides or special events because you are booked for that day. My brides are welcome to pay what they want at any time but must make a payment monthly towards the wedding date at which time the balance is due.She brought with her a bid from another florist, I was able to cut it in half which yes is a good deal but she wanted almost entirely Sunflowers, I happened to have a good friend who is a wholesaler I did not have to pass the good deal on but I did..Regarding my cashing her check at her bankbecause I am a victim of identity theft I have closed my accounts this can be verified with officer *** *** ** *** *** *** ...because he started the investigation.Regarding her reading bad reviews on the internet well pretty much everybody has a few bad reviews and most future Brides check this out prior to paying a save the date fee.Regarding my being unable to answer the phone this is because I dropped my phone in a flower bucket full of water and it wasn't working properlyRegarding her not understanding the save the Date fee,The bride was all over my web page and had perfect opportunity to see my policyRegarding her contacting me within days is irrelevant because once a save the date fee is paid it is non-refundable reason beingI had to turn down another wedding the very next day for that date.Her complaint background States quote for flowers for a wedding for July 30th 2016 that was not what happened the money she wants returned is a save the date FEE which is non-refundableHad she paid any other money towards her wedding balance then that would have been returned within her day Time line.Yes my tiny shop is right next to a bar when my front door is open and my back door is open it creates a wind tunnelin the morning it smells like carnitas which is cooked to my left and in the afternoon if anybody stepped out the back door of the bar and lights up anythingthat smell fills my shop alsoand because of that I get teased because my shop is called the flower POT.I am NOT happy about that at all but it's a joke on Main Street.I certainly hope this answers any questions you may have regarding my business practices please feel free to call me at anytime thank youSincerely *** *** ***

wedding Package of $200... Then as time went by, wanted to change it up...I'm sorry, but, If I am ever refunded by my Wholesaler, who is currently NOT operating,  I will be happy to refund $2.00 per centerpiece, which is gracious, because ANY centerpiece takes the same amount of time and to get a price of, $16 each is unheard of! These designs were in oasis and places in her boxes, they were beautiful and would of cost $25 each from any other florist.Mother Nature pulled a fast one, Not my fault, the flowers her money paid for... I am rejecting this response because: I feel she purposely promised us flowers she couldnt deliver.  We did go with Donna because of the price.  I showed her what I wanted and she never said she couldn't produce.  My husband and I undrrstood we werent getting very expensive flowers,  we wanted an inexpensive centerpieces and bridesmaid flowers.  I wish she would have been honest.  She spoke about doing a flower class at [redacted].  I recently called to verify this "story".  The horticulture department nor the community classes know who she is(photo attached on mjc claim)  She failed to provide a service and has been lying to us just to get more money from us. We were given a sample of what we were supposed to have rear received(pink and white followers) she gave us greenery, shrubbery  ((photo attached).  She requested ribbon for bridesmaid flowers AND she didn't wrap them.  The photographers husband  did It for us.  She didnt imclude pins for the grooms Men.  My hairdresser had to Go out and buy them.  I am currently waiting for pics of the bridesmids flowerS, NOT what we'd agreed On( I attached one of the pics I gave her that she agreed to).  She also didnt provide the the table runner we had discussed.  Like I mentioned before, she promised a lot but didnotdeliver. She wants to blame the hurricane, but then why lead us to believe the night before you were workring on our flowers? why not tell us we werent getting flowers so that we can hire someone who could?  I could also provide text where she tells us shes working in our roses.
