Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: there have been lies
told in the response letter, on the part of the Manager, ***So, before I accept
this response, I want these lies exposed and clarified...1) There was never a single voicemail left on my answering machine by *** or ***I check my voicemail
every other day and to date...not a single voicemail was that of *** or *** calling to apologizeI don't answer
calls I don't recognize and if no voicemail is left...I don't investigate who
may have calledMost people who desire to speak with someone leave a message,
in order to receive a call backThis was never done by *** or ***The only person that took the time to actually speak
with me is their District Manager ***She is the only one who called me
(left voice mails and emails in order to get in touch with me) in order to try
resolving anything and also offered me an apologyBut, as for *** and
***...there has been no apology messages left, ever, point blankIf there had been...I'd be accepting this
response.2) As for *** indicating that I have never complained
previously...I have indeed previously complained to Revdex.com about this apartment
complexThe issues got taken care of and therefore...the issues were resolved
Ironically, the same complaint I brought forth to Revdex.com…previously…are the same
issues in this current Revdex.com complaint: animal waste and restricted pets***
came on board, as the new Manager, shortly after my first complaint to Revdex.comIn my opinion, *** is not a pro-active Manager because
she hasn't made any attempts to personally meet or speak with meunder the
current circumstancesAs a former Manager myself, I would have made attempts
to personally speak with the negatively affected Customer…to show that I
actually do care and to clarify and
resolve the issues.3) The residents that I am seeing with Pitbulls are Active Duty Army soldiersThese aren’t
service dogs…these are petsI
see these soldiers (still in their uniforms) come home from work, open their
doors, and either let the dogs roam the grasses freely or walk them on leashes
along the grass walkways in order to let the dogs relieve themselvesThese
soldiers aren’t blind, crippled, or physically handicappedI was in the Military,
I know how it works…Active Duty folks aren’t still serving on active duty yet going
around with service dogsVeterans get service dogsAgain, these are Active Duty
soldiers and Pitbulls are their pets…not service dogsThere are some military posts
that won’t even allow Residents to have Pitbulls as pets because of their
aggressive, unpredictable, dangerous behaviorIf those Post residents are reported
and found to be in violation…that’s grounds for being kicked out of Post
housingI know all about the “service animal” scam these soldiers run on
Management…how they manipulate and print paper work that deems the Pitbull as a
service animal…oldest scam in the bookBut if Management used common sense…it
would be easy to detect the truth from a lieAgain, these are not service dogs I’m seeing…there is an
obvious violation occurring.4) Yes, the complex has been clean…but only because I got in
touch with their District Manager ***Notifying Revdex.com and the City of Killeen
was helpful, as well, as most workers tend to straighten up when they are under
a microscope that can expose their wrongdoingsI hope this sense of urgency
and attention to detail remainsAs of today…I’m satisfied
Regards,

March 21, Revdex.com Corporate Office La Posada Drive Austin, TXRE: ***; *** To Whom It May Concern; This letter serves as response for the payment dispute regarding the payment issue for Mr*** ***, apartment at Stone Hill ApartmentsUpon speaking with Mr
*** regarding his payment, he was explained that the $payment he brought into the office in February was for a signed eviction hold off agreement for his February, rent paymentAll eviction hold off agreements are required to bring a $payment to be left in the office that is either applied to the balance on the agreed upon payment date or will be used to file eviction at Bell County Court if the agreed upon payment is not madeI have enclosed signed copy of the agreement and the money order that was left for payment on February 2, The balance Mr*** is concerned with is the March, rent balanceWhen I spoke to Mr*** March 7, 2016, I explained to him that the money order he left was for his February eviction hold-off agreement and rent balance and it did not allow him the opportunity to pay his rent late for MarchI also explained to him that while our online system will allow him to set up an automatic payment for anytime of the month he chooses, his signed lease contract states that he understands (and agrees) to pay rent on the of each month or there will be late fees as well as discounts charge backs charged to his accountMr***'s account has been billed in accordance with the signed lease agreement regarding late payment and feesHe may come to the office to obtain a copy of his payment history anytime he wishesSincerely, *** *** Property Manager Stone Hill Apartments

To Whom it May Concern; Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed on July 22, When Mr*** came into to the office and we discussed his repair issues I in no way tried to steer the conversation from the issue he was havingI did apologize to Mr*** that the work
orders were closed out before completed and explained to him I would discuss this issue with the maintenance supervisor to find out why that had occurredMr*** and I also discussed in length that some of the service repairs he requested be completed would be charged back to him because of damage caused by himself, someone in the apartment, or pet damageHe said he understood that and I told him I would have someone at his apartment as quickly as possible to at least have the ceiling issue taken care ofWhile I do not have an issuing with giving Mr*** a discount on his rent for his inconvenience, we will unfortunately not be issuing a full rent credit as the apartment has been 1,- [ completely habitableWe welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter with Mr.*** it he would like to come to the officeSincerely, *** *** Stonehill Apartments Property Manager

Hello, thank you for informing us of this issueI have researched the customers concernsThe light that was blown, was a city street lightMaintenance did receive the submitted work order and immediately called the city of KilleenFrom there, there is a process that is done before *** is
called out to observe and correct the issueThe work order has been completed by *** on 4/17/and is now closed in our systemThe customer was advised of the completionPlease know that we do agree, blown out lights can cause safety issues and we definitely do not want anyone in harms wayWe do have a light check system in place and take ownership in replacing the property lights as soon as possibleUnfortunately, the reports of the city or street lights can take a little longer to complete, as we are in their mercyThough, please do know that we consistently follow up with ***, to be sure it is still on their schedule

Below is the response from Stonehill Apartments; The resident was given notice on *** **, that she had not paid rentShe called the office stating she had slid her payment under the door Saturday (*** *, 2017)I informed the resident that there was no payment under the door and as
per a request from corporate we installed a door sweep which prevents anything from being slid under the doorThis is to prevent claims of lost paymentsThe resident said she would not be paying her late fees because she has lived in the complex for years and she should not be being chargedAs per the lease, rent is due on the 1st and late fees begin on the 4thI explained to the resident that she paid well past the due date and that I do not waive late fees for any residents as no one in the office is authorized to waive any part of the leaseI explained that if were to waive late fees for one resident I would have to waive late fees for all residentsI told her if I made an exception for one person but not the other it would be unethical and could be seen as discriminationShe told me I was talking ugly to her and she thought I was nasty and then hung up.The resident came in at a late date and gave a money order for a balance that was less than dueShe stated she would not be paying late fees and left the office. In the month of January, the resident came in with a check which was also short due to her owing the late fees from JanuaryA staff member excepted the check but then called and informed the resident that we would not accept the payment because we do not accept partial paymentsThe resident came in a couple days later with payment in full and put in her notice of intent to vacate. Thank you,*** *** ***Stonehill Apartments

I am rejecting this response because: As predictable, it's filled with blatant, intentional inaccuracies and the reviews of this apartment complex reflect the sloppiness and unprofessionalism of the management. Common sense would let anyone know that someone who has had a stellar payment history...the last 5yrs...wouldn't suddenly "not" pay rent in a timely manner...and certainly not several days after it's due. That was management neglect and oversight in properly informing me that payment was never received. I have slid my payment under the door for 5yrs...never had a missing payment check...until this lady took over. No further response needed. Just want the record to reflect the truth in finality.

October 29, 2015 Revdex.com Corporate Office 1005 La Posada Drive Austin, TX 78752 RE: ID [redacted] Stone Hill Apartments o Whom It May Concern, This letter is in regards to the 2nd response for Stone Hill Apartments regarding a complaint filed from Ms. [redacted]. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns. I would like it notated that [redacted] did in fact call Ms. [redacted], not only once, but twice. I personally had [redacted] call from my office while in front of me to ensure that the call was made. We have both called the number that Ms. [redacted] has on file in our office which is [redacted]. If this number has changed, it is the responsibility of the tenant to let us know so we can update the contact information. There were 2 voice mails left by [redacted], and 1 phone call made by me, at the number listed above requesting a call back. I refuse, as a professional, to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s opinion of me, [redacted], being an un-proactive manager. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's unfortunate that Ms. [redacted] feels this way as I have assisted in making numerous improvements to our community, as well as Ms. [redacted]'s concerns with the exception of removing all pit bulls. Again, regarding the pit-bulls Ms. [redacted] has seen on property, if we are aware of a pit bull occupying an apartment, it has in fact been registered as a service animal. There are other disabilities that animals are registered as services animals for that are not visible such as the ones Ms. [redacted] has listed in her response. Some disabilities are mental disabilities an if they are documented, we must uphold the standards and guidelines set forth by the ADA and Fair Housing standards. If these types of pets being accepted as service animals are a concern, a great option is to contact local and state representative law makers to help get the regulations changed. We are glad to hear that Ms. [redacted] is satisfied and again, we appreciate the opportunity to respond to these concerns. If you have any further questions or need further action regarding this situation, please do not hesitate to contact me in the office at [redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: it's just garbage. Nothing but unapologetic attitudes at this point...with lies still being told. I have no further responses nor care to receive any further...these people don't truly care...simply going through the motions. And I simply look forward to moving from this complex when my lease is over.
