items that the dashboard didn't show you so I replaced it and sent back the one she originally had. I had to send it back for core. I got it through Al's Auto Salvage. This is a common problem in this model for that cluster to go bad. She wants a loaner car but I [redacted]'t have any loaner cars. Her insurance called me asking about a loaner or rental car but I only have a dealer's license; I can't legally put her in any car with a dealer's license and those are all the cars I have. I told her, I'll get you a rental car at my price, I [redacted]'t do that. I stand by my cars and even though I didn't warranty this car, I've tried to help her out as much as I can. I've picked up her car at her house several times to work on them or help her out. This car has never been in a flood, I think she's getting that from some water she found in the door or something. That does not show it's been in a flood. I can't cover all the costs of changing out the cluster but I've got a guy I've already talked to who says he's ready to work on the car if she wants to bring it back in.

process than it is with newer cars. This is a 1972 Coupe Deville. He said we did not prep it properly or take the trim off it, and we did. I ran into this man on the street at night and he showed me his car, and I said he needs to bring it to the shop. I talked to him on the phone saying I wanted to look at his car and try to help him out with it, and he said I am absolutely not allowed to touch his car and he just wants his money back. I said I cannot give him his money back, and he threatened me with his lawyer. I never told him to get a lawyer as he stated. He also stated he's been looking for me for two years; he could have easily found me had he dropped by or called the shop.
