On April 4, 2014 I paid Donovan's Painting a 1/2 deposit for some painting to be done on an exterior portion of my house with the understanding that as soon as the weather broke I would be put on a schedule. On June 10, 2014 I still had not heard anything from Donovan so I emailed him and was assured via email that the job would be finished by June 30, 2014.
June 30 came and still no word from Donovan so I emailed him asking to return my deposit. I also stated that I understand there was some bad weather but with a complete lack of communication from him left me no choice but to ask for the deposit back. He indicated via email that he would.
It is now July 24, 2014 and still no check. I have left another email and voice message for him with no response yet.
Don't deal with this business!
