I am rejecting this response because:We have the paperwork provided by Champion Roofing, which failed to provide any warranty information.  We believed Mr. [redacted] when he advised us the roof would last 50 years.I would also again reiterate, Mr. [redacted] NEVER advised us that the repairs he was making on the roof was NOT warranty work.  Mr. [redacted] also failed to respond to our prior statement.  Champion Roofing came out several weeks ago to put a temporary fix on the roof and stated that if that worked, which it didn't, they would place a permanent repair to the area.  Are they denying this?  Again, when it rained again, we made numerous attempts to contact them without response.I would also like to point out that Champion Roofing in response to our complaint, ADMITS that the problem area was clearly not roofed properly.  They stated that they have text messages "within 16 months of the original roofing" (despite the fact we were in a drought) the roof leaked in the same exact area.I find it odd that they are now stating the design of the roof is the issue.  We previously had a gravel roof in excess of 10 years without this issue.Champion Roofing stated that they are "OK with how the customer chooses to proceed.  I can only think of 2 possible solutions.  1)  Have Champion Roofing honor their WORD and repair the leak to our roof or if they cannot or do not wish to handle the repair properly, 2) we will obtain an estimate to repair the area, if they agree to pay for the proper repair.I would also like to point out that as a result of the leak in the roof, our ceiling and wall has been damaged.

Homeowner contracted Champion Roofing in February 2010 to fix a leak chronic leak in his existing tar and gravel roof.  The repair fixed the problem for about a year and a half.  Homeowner contacted Champion Roofing October of 2011 to install a new roof.  He chose to install a new...

metal roof that was completed in November 2011.  The warranty for workmanship is 2 years.  Homeowner's previous leak from February 2010 started again at the beginning of 2014.  Champion Roofing has attempted to fix the leak that is way past the warranty period with no service charges to Homeowner on at least 5 occasions.  Champion Roofing contends that the architectural design of the roof is a major contributing factor to the chronic leak the homeowner has experienced since at least 2010, which was when we first were contacted regarding this leak.

Thanks for following up Troy.  Sorry for the delay.  Here is my proposal; 1.  I will attempt to repair the leak for a fee. 2.  I will wait to collect any money until we have a good rain to determine if the repair fixes the leak. 3.  I will not be held liable for any interior damages that have occurred.  Thank you for helping out with this.  Let me know the outcome when it has been determined.   [redacted]
