They said they had a transmission, a 4L60e that supposedly only had 115K miles on it. They said that they had the truck it was out of to look at. I asked several times to look at the condition of the truck and look at the odometer to confirm mileage and to see if the vehicle was beat on. They refused several times and made up excuses to a cash paying customer.
After this experience, I have the feeling that they are NOT honest with the mileage of the parts they sell. My garage will NOT do business with them ever after this experience. This is the 1st time in 25+ years I had ran into this type of stone walling to keep a customer from viewing the donor vehicle.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM OR AT VERY LEAST DEMAND TO SEE THE VEHICLE. If the make excuses, go elsewhere. That is how they get rid of substandard/high mileage transmissions and engines.
