On March 27 , 2013 11:15am [redacted] acknowledged sending me a refund check in full, however, it has not been received. March 6, 2013TO: [redacted] Certified letter XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXDon's TV & Satellite [redacted] XXXXXFROM: [redacted] XXXXXDear [redacted]: I'm writing to voice a complaint about your service on your open work order XXXXX dated January 11, 2013.I have heard absolutely nothing from you since the day you came to my house to site survey, at which time you accepted $90.00 in cash from me for this portion of the service. No letters, No phones calls, and No completion of work you promised to do within two weeks. You said this amount paid by me is then credited toward the actual Antenna install. Now, I am now asking you to refund me in full the $90.00 I paid to you for reason of the balance of services have been not performed in a timely manner, nor in good faith our mutual agreement. You have not performed the additional work you promised, and I don't want you to continue since I am now not secure in the overall integrity of your company and its services provided. To date, You have not provided me with any estimate, either a written or verbal estimate for the completed TV antenna installation as discussed.When I asked you when you could start, You told me that you personally did not perform the on roof service install, but hired a friend to do this portion of the work while you worked on the ground. That your friend had another job, and you needed to schedule the time of install in conjunction with him. You told me that my work would be done in two weeks, and that you had only to coordinate the install with your friend. You told me that your company carries liability insurance to perform the service and install of TV antennas. With that said, how does this coverage apply to your friend who helps you? I am requesting you make refund to me within 10 days, by check payable to me, and ,mailed to my address. I will consider this matter closed only at time of receipt and clear of your check. I'm truly sorry to have to make this request, and I hope you appreciate my reasons for asking.Sincerely, [redacted]Desired SettlementFull refund payment now of $90.00 as agreed, or I will address this matter in small claims. I have also contracted with a new service provider to perform the work [redacted] did not follow through on.Consumer's Final Response Don's TV / [redacted] , has refunded $90.00 in cash to me on April 4, 2013. This matter is now closed, and it is to my satisfaction. Don's TV fulfilled their requested obligation. thanks .
