#222222;">On March 27, 2014, I sent a text message to [redacted] ***This text was sent from a dental chair at 2:pm My dental appointment was behind schedule which caused me to be late for a 3-pm drive with [redacted] and two other students, so I text messaged all three students to go home from school and that I would be in touch to re-schedule.In his complaint to the Revdex.com, Mr [redacted] states that his wife "explained her concerns" to me in a March 18th phone conversationThis gives me the impression that Mrs***'s behavior was calm, under control and productive, which it was notMrs***'s screaming, raging, repetitiveness and punitive words gave me little opportunity for a two way conversation Mrs [redacted] accused me of not sending a text message to ***, informing me that [redacted] has instructions to have her phone turned off while at school, yet in the next breath telling me that I should have called [redacted] rather than send a text messageMy observation of high school students is that text messaging is a more successful way to communicate quickly and that high school students do not pick up phone callsI also chose to send a text rather than make a phone call because the school day had not yet ended and I did not want to take a chance of having their phone ring during class timeI disagree with Mr***'s statement that it is "a poor business practice to rely on text messaging to cancel an appointment, especially when a reply is not received to confirm." Text messaging may not be the most used method of communication in the business of accounting, but it is the most used way of communication between me and my drive students, and at a time when I wanted to quickly get a message to my student to go home after school to avoid being at school without a ride home.Mr [redacted] states that I was "extremely rude and unprofessional when speaking to" his wife and never offered an apology Mrs [redacted] did not indicate that her husband was present nor listening in when she called me on March 18th, and it is my opinion his judgment is based solely on what Mrs [redacted] told her husband My comments to Mrs [redacted] were neither rude nor unprofessional I listened to Mrs*** When I was given a brief time to reply, I told Mrs [redacted] that no parent wants to have their child at school from a missed appointment and that I regret that happened I told Mrs [redacted] the content of my text to [redacted] and asked her if [redacted] would be available after school today, March 18th, for her third drive Mrs [redacted] told me [redacted] could not be informed of this until she got home from school; I offered to call [redacted] once she was home from school and would then pick up [redacted] at their home for this drive Mrs [redacted] said no, that [redacted] would finish her drive instruction with a different driving schoolAs a courtesy, I told Mrs [redacted] I would refund $for the drives not completed; I also told this to Mr [redacted] when he and I spoke on the phone The agreement form between Door To Door Driving School LLC, Mrs [redacted] and [redacted] ***, signed on January 22, 2014, states that "Door To Door Driving School LLC will not refund any tuition or part of tuition if the School is ready, willing and able to fulfill its part of this agreement The Wisconsin Department of Transportation requires this statement be included in our Agreement Form." Just as Mrand Mrs [redacted] can change their mind, I can,too Because of Mrs***'s behavior toward me, I have decided to enforce our Agreement and will not refund $to the [redacted] Fund.Mr [redacted] called me on March 19, 2014, telling me that [redacted] would be completing her drive instruction with a different driving school I later went to the US Cellular Office in Mukwonago, asking they take a snapshot of the text I had sent to ***, which they did and which is forwarded to the Revdex.com in a separate email today I then looked in ***'s file folder and saw her area code is and not 262, which explains why she did not receive the text I sent to her..I had typed in the wrong area code After sending a summary of ***'s drive instruction to [redacted] ***, ***'s new drive instructor, I told [redacted] to be sure to use area code and not if she does send a text to ***.I have not spoken with Mrs [redacted] nor Mr [redacted] since my phone conversation with each When you "called twice since....and have not received a return call..." Mr***, you did not leave any voicemailDoes a phone call mean you let my phone ring once and then ended your call? I had no knowledge you had called since our conversation on March 19th.Your comments, Mr***, "Fortunately for our daughter my wife was able to pick her up Other children might not have someone to rely on In my opinion, this is a safety concern for children" and, "...leaving my daughter stranded...After waiting for over an hour my wife picked up my daughter." My students are told to wait inside the high school building at the Commons front doors, a glassed in area that protects students from weather yet allows them to see their drive instructor pull up to the buildingOnly you, your wife and [redacted] know why [redacted] waited for over an hour at MHS, less than a mile drive from your home.I do regret the mistyped area code and losing [redacted] as one of my students In thirteen years of business, I have never had a student leave ***, best wishes in completing your drive instruction and happy trails! Mrand Mrs***, throughout your complaint to the Revdex.com, you mis-spelled my last name The correct spelling is [redacted] and not [redacted] [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Ms. [redacted] in her own words stated that as a "courtesy" she would return the unused portion of our fees for ***'s behind the wheel training. She admits saying that to both my wife and I (although she never said as a courtesy). She is wrong on so many levels and is demonstrating poor business practice. Since we have contacted the BBB she is now retracting the refund and trying to defame my wife, my daughter and me. We upheld our end of the deal until she wrongly left our daughter at school for an alleged dental appointment. Cancelling an appointment with a child via text without asking for a reply to ensure that the message was received is not right. To compound this matter she did not respond to us until the following day after we left messages for her, she finally answered her phone and went on the defensive. We paid for a service that was not completed nor was it up to standards. Additionally, her whole response and character to me is in question and I have not mentioned it before but March 17th was St. Patrick's Day for what it is worth. Regards, [redacted] ***

Ms. [redacted] in her own words stated that as a "courtesy" she would return the unused portion of our fees for [redacted]'s behind the wheel training. As I stated before Ms. [redacted] told my wife and I on separate occasions that she would refund the unused portion of our fee. Ms. [redacted] is in the wrong for leaving a teenage girl at school not even ensuring that [redacted] had received the message or caring if [redacted] made it home. Because of that how can we trust that she will properly take care of our daughter and provide adequate instruction. [redacted] in my opinion cannot be trusted and we were not comfortable leaving our daughter in her hands. Since she refuses to uphold her end of the verbal agreement she gave us we will resort to social media to spread the word. Interestingly enough, I have heard of other students that have made comments stating "here I am waiting for [redacted] again". I would have given her the benefit of the doubt if she would have shown even a little remorse and that was not even displayed by Ms. [redacted].

While I regret my mis-typing of Abi's area code of 262 rather than 414, and thus Abi did not receive my text message, has resulted in her parents withdrawing Abi from her behind the wheel drive instruction with Door To Door Driving School LLC, the fact is Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] withdrew from our agreement. "Door To Door Driving School LLC will not refund any tuition or part of tuition if the School is ready, willing and able to fulfill its part of this agreement..., " which I am.
Best Regards,

On March 27, 2014, I sent a text message to [redacted]. This text was sent from a dental chair at 2:43 pm. My dental appointment was behind schedule which caused me to be late for a 3-5 pm drive with [redacted] and two other students, so I text messaged all three students to go home from school and that I would be in touch to re-schedule.In his complaint to the Revdex.com, Mr. [redacted] states that his wife "explained her concerns" to me in a March 18th phone conversation. This gives me the impression that Mrs. [redacted]'s behavior was calm, under control and productive, which it was not. Mrs. [redacted]'s screaming, raging, repetitiveness and punitive words gave me little opportunity for a two way conversation. Mrs. [redacted] accused me of not sending a text message to [redacted], informing me that [redacted] has instructions to have her phone turned off while at school, yet in the next breath telling me that I should have called [redacted] rather than send a text message. My observation of high school students is that text messaging is a more successful way to communicate quickly and that high school students do not pick up phone calls. I also chose to send a text rather than make a phone call because the school day had not yet ended and I did not want to take a chance of having their phone ring during class time. I disagree with Mr. [redacted]'s statement that it is "a poor business practice to rely on text messaging to cancel an appointment, especially when a reply is not received to confirm." Mrs. [redacted] did not indicate that her husband was present nor listening in when she called me on March 18th, and it is my opinion his judgment is based solely on what Mrs. [redacted] told her husband. My comments to Mrs. [redacted] were neither rude nor unprofessional. I listened to Mrs. [redacted]. When I was given a brief time to reply, I told Mrs. [redacted] that no parent wants to have their child at school from a missed appointment and that I regret that happened. I told Mrs. [redacted] the content of my text to [redacted] and asked her if [redacted] would be available after school today, March 18th, for her third drive. Mrs. [redacted] told me [redacted] could not be informed of this until she got home from school; I offered to call [redacted] once she was home from school and would then pick up [redacted] at their home for this drive. Mrs. [redacted] said no, that [redacted] would finish her drive instruction with a different driving school. As a courtesy, I told Mrs. [redacted] I would refund $160 for the drives not completed; I also told this to Mr. [redacted] when he and I spoke on the phone. The agreement form between Door To Door Driving School LLC, Mrs. [redacted] and [redacted], signed on January 22, 2014, states that "Door To Door Driving School LLC will not refund any tuition or part of tuition if the School is ready, willing and able to fulfill its part of this agreement. Because of Mrs. [redacted]'s behavior toward me, I have decided to enforce our Agreement and will not refund $160 to the [redacted] Fund.Mr. [redacted] called me on March 19, 2014, telling me that [redacted] would be completing her drive instruction with a different driving school. I later went to the US Cellular Office in Mukwonago, asking they take a snapshot of the text I had sent to [redacted], which they did and which is forwarded to the Revdex.com in a separate email today. I then looked in [redacted]'s file folder and saw her area code is 414 and not 262, which explains why she did not receive the text I sent to her..I had typed in the wrong area code. After sending a summary of [redacted]'s drive instruction to [redacted], [redacted]'s new drive instructor, I told [redacted] to be sure to use area code 414 and not 262 if she does send a text to [redacted].I have not spoken with Mrs. [redacted] nor Mr. [redacted] since my phone conversation with each.
